MailEnable uses various internal tools, developed by both our support staff and developers to help diagnose issues. We've linked to a few popular ones below which may be useful to our users. These are unsupported tools, but you can make suggestions.
This utility simple extracts lines from a log file that match a string. It would be useful to enter the mailbox name and filter the SMTP activity log for instance, to show all entries associated with that mailbox. Another example would be to use the SMTP-OU string to filter out the outbound activity.
On larger installations the log files can become too large to easily view. This utility allows you to split up the files into smaller more manageable ones to be viewed.
This utility is a real time log viewer that can be used to monitor service activity.
