RSS: MailEnable Version 3.1 Now Available

MailEnable Pty. Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of MailEnable
Professional and MailEnable Enterprise 3.1. These updates to version 3
address various issues that have been raised by users and also include:

-improved speed of web mail loading under 64 bit platforms
-added new fields for contacts and directory items
-improved stability and security

Some of the major new features for version 3 can be found below.

Outlook synchronisation (Enterprise Only)

The MailEnable Synchronisation Utility makes it easy to keep information
updated between Microsoft Outlook and MailEnable's web mail interface.
Information including tasks, calendars and contacts can be synchronised.

Web mail and collaboration

Web mail and web administration have a new look and feel with the
introduction of AJAX web mail and improved web mail usability. Drag and
drop messages, view attached images in slideshows, add appointments directly
to your calendar, and much more. The Enterprise version will now allow you
to share calendars, mailboxes and contacts with other web mail users. You

Anti-spam

To reduce the incidence of false positives and provide greater control over
spam detection and removal, the new version includes greylisting, outbound
whitelisting and user defined spam tolerance levels.

Statistics reporting (Enterprise Only)

A new statistics module provides detailed statistics on all mail services
(POP, SMTP, IMAP, HTTPMAIL). Reports can be customised to suit the users
reporting requirements.
