Client Configuration

This utility queries your domain mail configuration and will provide detailed instructures for configuring e-mail clients (like Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail and various Exchange ActiveSync clients).

Show generic settings

This will provide generic instructions as to how to configure the mail client without any specific server names or port assignments relating to your environment.

Note: Whilst MailEnable does not store the credentials you use to access your server, in the interests of security, we suggest using a test mailbox when using this utility. The reason the this utility requires a valid username and password is that (as part of the diagnostic tests), it will attempt to use the autodiscovery protocol.
The autodiscovery prototol requests a username and password combination to query for mail client configuration details.
