SMTP Requeued as
I'm trying to build an application to parse our SMTP logs. I am putting the emails directly in the queue, so the initial MAI filename I have control of- and can embed a unique ID into it. However, it then requeues as an email named by MailEnable (and says so in the log file). This makes it real diff...

return-path reset by SMTP?
I am sending a email through both Professional 1.85 and Standard 1.981. We are sending from a simple VB app using an SMTP control (actually tried with multiple controls to make sure). Mail Enable seems to reset the return-path header. Example: The From address is "info@domain_one.com" The Return pat...

Testing DNS/URL blacklist
I'm testing version 3.0 with DNS and URL blacklisting. I'm doing the testing on a "throwaway" domain right now. That domain really doesn't get any spam, or email at all at this moment. I can send it test emails, of course. Is there any way to test the blacklisting? To send it something it will surel...

Hi, The action to "mark message as spam" within the Reverse DNS blacklisting option is only available in later releases of MailEnable. Can you please point out which help file you are referring too? regards, MailEnable Support. I merely clicked "help" from within the application. It looks like I ha...

DNS Blacklist - no Action when detected?
I have ME Professional 1.85 installed. I want to start using DNS Blacklisting in the SMTP properties tab. I don't want mail blocked, I just want it marked as spam in the header or whatever. Here's the problem. I don't see a "Action when detected" option for any of the default DNS Blacklists (DSBL, S...

dkeyevent.exe not doing anything?
(Oops... I accidentally started a new topic when I merely meant to reply here!) We have the latest, patched MailEnable Standard. We use it only for outgoing mail, and want DKeyEvent to only add stuff to outgoing mail. This is on a test server (Windows 2003 Server), so there are no security issues at...

Hmmm... Are you seeing a new patch for "Standard" somewhere else or maybe it's me overlooking it in plain sight??? It looks like the last patch for "Standard" came out on the same day as 1.981. Nope... I'm seeing some older ones for "1.98". Nothing there *for* "1.981" explicitly. I just want to kno...

Is 1.98 the same as 1.981
I'm noticing hotfixes available for what is described as "Standard version 1.98".
We have 1.981. Should we apply updates for "1.98" or do we have them included?

Queue filenames and MTA
I'm writing a simple MTA filter to store information about outgoing messages (SMTP), especially the file name of the MAI file. This way I can later parse our SMTP activity log files and match them up to real messages. The problem I'm having is that it seems that the MTA application is called on SMTP...

Add header on all SMTP messages
I have MailEnable Standard (1.9) on some of our servers. Is there a way to add a header to each and every email sent through our SMTP server?
It would be the exact same header, nothing dynamic at all.
