Re: MailEnable Antispam not working as expected
You have to have items in BOTH the Spam and NOSpam locations for the training to work.

Training
Ahh, I see.
So, manual training is the way to go to get large bulks of email examined rather then processing them through the queues.
I had pretty much decided that already.
Thanks for the reply and help.

first line of MailEnable.TAB
My first line looks like: Token 16883 12293 If I stop the MTA, then change the values then restart the MTA, the MailEnable System Overview changes to show the new numbers I typed. I have been unable to discern any effect these numbers have on the Bayesian filtering other than allowing the training a...

Bayesian Dictionary Specifications
The first line shows the emails added fom ham and spam honeypots.
Is it necessary that the numbers shown on this line reflect actual emails added?
Or is this number only used to report the "Bayesian Dict. Ham" and "Bayesian Dict. Spam" numbers in the MailEnable System Overview?

Adding EMails to Bayesian filter
Thanks for your reply. I just copied the emails I wanted to use to train the filter to the Spam and NoSpam directories as appropriate and ran the manual training to add them as outlined in the enterprise manual. There appear to be no constraints on the variation between spam and ham tokens when addi...

Get mail into Spam Honeypot
EMail seems to only train the Bayesian filter if it is received through normal channels into the spam email account. I have a large folder of spam sample emails I would like to use to train the filter. Is there a particular place I should copy these EMails to so they will be picked up by the filter ...

AVG for Server
I use AVG Anti-Malware 7.5 Network Edition. It has no problems with servers and allows you to manage scanning on the folder or file level.

AV Pricing
I am not sure what kind of pricing people are using to compare....
AVG Anti-Virus 7.5 and AVG Anti-Malware 7.5 (Ewido) as a bundle is $13 for a 2 year license per machine for me. If people are paying substantially more, let me know and I will set up a store and make some $.

I would like to know this also.
I use many addresses also and would like to block a defined set of addresses. Is there a method to block incoming email to addresses that do not fit a filter? like _*.mydomain.com

This sounds like you are running a CISCO router with MailGuard.
Just bypass the MailGuard function and it should be OK

I have reregistered asp.dll and see no change.
All other functionality of WebMail is working.
Other sites on the server experience no problems.
Any other ideas?
