I'm running the latest version of ME Pro. Its installed with the default settings (so I assume the .NET version) On this upgrade I didn't opt to re-install the web portion as I was aware of the permission reset problem I had when I upgraded to 2.37 and wanted to avoid that. When I finished installin...

Everytime I upgrade ME Pro I have to reset permissions for my webmail otherwise I get "Service Unavailable"
This time I can't because it gives me the following error:

Run-time Error '-2147220999 (800401f9)':
Automation Error
Error in the DLL
Any help would be appreciated.

I've had several hits of PDF spam on the MEFilter (I use SpamAssassin to mark mail as spam, they luckily being caught by using known black listed servers and bay-probability is usually high) I was actually looking for news on this now seeing as I found some. It looks like normal image spam but in a ...

Advanced Scripting getting value from custom exe?
Hi, I wrote a "pickup event" that will do some kung-fu and spit out a result. How can I use advanced scripting to pick that up and stop it if necessary?
Please help

NOD32 Crashes constantly
I've setup NOD32 as my antivirus scanner. It crashes when it receives an email to scan for virusses and gives false positives when an email is sent to more than one person (thats not even have any attachments, its a normal mail!)

Remote SMTP Server Returned: -
I'm getting messages that bounce back to the sender that says "Remote SMTP Server Returned: -"
No reason, nothing. It just bounces back. Sometimes it goes through, other times it doesnt. Why is this?

Re: Sorry to hear about this - how about throttling?
Let me get this straight, you're sending 65,000 emails at once through your mail server which is on "8 x 1 Gbps redundant backbones" via an ASP script to 65,000 different recipients? It sounds like your machine is fine, though 8 gb feeds into one box seems far fetched. If you have a mailing list th...

Thanks for replying I've disabled the AV and RDNS beforehand knowing it will pull my server down to the ground scanning everything. Thanks for the advice. And yes I know these people are trying to help me which is the reason why I came here in the first place. I'm doing another mail run now, hopeful...

Well, I have dual xeon 3ghz with 2gb memory and 2x120gb sata drives running on a 8 x 1gbps redundant internet backbone. So I generally doubt the problem lies there. But I agree with the throttling. The only reason for using CDONTS is I need to embed images into my mail which (by golly gorsh) I can't...
