Re: New Install

Thanks again rfwilliams777, I took your advice with the MxScan and haven't had the first complaint as it works wonderfully. I have been studying what you said about filtering but I still can't find where I need to go to block an entire TLD (.science, .ninja, .cricket, etc.) could you give me a dire...

Re: [SOLVED] .Ninja TLD Block

Hello, Is there a way to block a TLD with a wildcard, it seems that the .ninja TLD is becoming a spammers paradise and my MXScan is only tagging a small portion of it and Mailenable's built in scanners are just letting it through. I would prefer just to dump the whole .ninja TLD, it is completely u...

Re: MXScan for Mailenable (AntiVirus and AntiSpam Plugin)

... with the settings I currently have about 87% of the e-mail is spam and is filtered and blocked. I certainly can be proud to use this software for effective filtering. Some of the other providers charge way too much (like $500 a year) just to use their server to help with one layer of the filter...

Re: MXScan for Mailenable (AntiVirus and AntiSpam Plugin)

Hello, About five years ago, when I first started using MXScan, I tried setting the RDNSBL "Maximum header check depth" to 2 because it really sounded like it made sense to do so (if a message comes from a known spam source, even if it later passes through a server that doesn't appear on any blackl...

Re: MXScan for Mailenable (AntiVirus and AntiSpam Plugin)

Hi polarisie, Thank you for the notification. I have updated mine to this latest release. Lately I have noticed a tremendous amount of spam passing (like 10-20 a day) to the Inbox. When I look at the scores and origins, all are from the US and have a score of 4.1 but they are all unkinkable hoses a...

Re: MXScan for Mailenable (AntiVirus and AntiSpam Plugin)

The SpamAssassin on ME 7.02 Pro doesn't run on my server. And there are also other spam options that turned off by default. No way to know how to turn them on as there's still no docs of ME 7 come out from MailEnable. Does MXScan work with the Pro version of ME 7.02? I asked because there are some ...

Re: MXScan for Mailenable (AntiVirus and AntiSpam Plugin)

Will it work with MailEnable 7.02 Professional version? The MailEnable itself has SpamAssassin comes with it. There's no customizing option and it failed to run on my server though. May I know what failed on your server? MailEnable SpamAssassin or the MxScan Install? The Mxscan installation of spam...

Re: Spam question

I've been running mailenable server on my PC for about 5 or 6 years now. I only have one domain with two mailboxes, one for me and one for my wife, plus the postmaster box. These are purely personal email accounts so not a lot is sent out from them, but I use then for my Yahoo group mail because I ...
