I also have the same problem with MailEnable 2.x.

Recently I´ve reinstalled my mailserver and POP3 is too slow on SQL Server 2005 or mySQL. It works fine after restarting all MailEnable services, but after a short time it become slow again.

There is a solution or hotfix to this problem?

Solved

I raised a support ticket with MailEnable Support team and they identified a problem with URL Blacklisting.

Disabling this feature solved the problem until they release a patch.

MTA Filter

Hi, I need to grant relay to 127.0.0.1 but it is being exploited by spammers on my server to send mail and I cant block 127.0.0.1 relay because it is used for legitimate users on the server. MailEnable does not check if the domain is owned by server before sending e-mails, so spammers can send e-mai...

The first solution appears to be the nice one.

I will contact Plesk support team about how to bind Plesk on the new private IP address.

The second solution will be my B Plan, but where can I find documentation about write a MTA scripting?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply,

Yes, I am sure that is not a MailEnable problem.
Since I have no solution on Plesk support team maybe MailEnable has a way to solve this by other means.

Do you have any suggestions instead solve this Plesk?

Thanks again

127.0.0.1 Relay Problem

Hi, I use MailEnable Enteprise with Plesk 7.6.1 and need to allow relay from 127.0.0.1 to grant Plesk send notifications to users. With this option on, any hosted user on the server can write a script and send e-mails without authentication. The problem is that users can also send e-mails from any d...

Hi,

Check this article:
