I've noticed the same thing, but just never paid much attention to it. The feature probably has never been completed.

I agree with you, this needs to be fixed. And this is such a simple fix which should only take 5 mins or less to complete. I just can't believe they haven't fixed this yet.

Open software tends to be fixed alot faster than closed software. The problems are found alot quicker than closed software.
