I use SpamAssassign Outlook executable to filter spam, wondering if that is the problem. I've disabled all filters. Will let you know if it comes back. AV was disabled and it froze again.

I have this as well just upgraded to 1.77, thought it was related to that. I think it may actually have to do with new round of windows updates and virus filter?

I also had this issue. An update to Win2003 SP1 cured it for me. Had it for a few weeks before upgrading. Sent a support request into ME and didn't have much luck with their response.

1.7 will fix some other issues I'm having, but I'm scared to load it at this point...

I had a similar issue, the SMTP logs were reporting DNS errors. After restarting the SMTP server, the e-mails would send. Updating Win2k3 to SP1 has solved the issue for me thus far.

Still have issues, all relating to the dnsapi.dll. Any info/confirmation on this?

Locks up when there is an e-mail in the queue being sent to an invalid domain.

Wow, not firewalled, that's scary...

Alright, lets look to the client end. Do you have multiple users reporting this? What have you replicated it with? MS Outlook? Do you have any local AV software?

If you can post the e-mail MAI file, I can pop it into my setup and give it a try as well.

Check out your server IP against spam lists, etc...

Also, stop and then restart your SMTP service, and then try to resend these messages. If they send properly, let me know because I'm having an issue with this right now.

I've seen this when the client is using Norton Internet Security. Have them disable internet security and try. If that resolves it, have them add the webmail site to their allow list in Norton.
