Opinions/Advice Requested: Activesync
I have a new customer that is interested in using the Exchange/ActiveSync features of ME. We have not yet implemented this feature, and I have some concerns about whether or not we really want to take on the additional support burden and storage requirements this will entail. We currently host POP/I...

Export members of mail list
I may be completely crazy, but I would've sworn that prior to our recent upgrade to 8.03 that I could right-click on a mailing list and export the members to a text file, just like you can for the mailboxes in a post office. Am I just overlooking something? Was this removed for some reason? Or did I...

Block inbound msgs not from Postini for single domain
I have a customer who has signed up for Postini, and he would like to make sure all mail he receives is filtered through this service. Is there a way I can block email not coming from Postini for his domain only?

Well, the upgrade did not fix the problem, but it did change the time info that is listed in the diagnostic report: Current Local Time: 09/26/08 06:00:19 Current Time (GMT +/- Offset): Fri, 26 Sep 2008 18:00:19 -0500 So, does anyone know where the second time listed (Current Time) is configured or h...

Received time on messages is 12 hours in future
The time written in the message headers for received mail is for some reason showing 12 hours in the future. I've checked the server time, and it is correct, but for example, a message that just came in on 9/24/2008 at 7:29:43 PM had the following header: Received: from ([127.0.0.1]) with MailEnable...

Same problem here - seems as though a lot of people are having similar issues, although there do seem to be some variations that make it appear as though there is more than one problem. I'm inclined to think especially in regards to Yahoo! that they may have started using greylisting, but you can se...

Assuming that Yahoo! is doing some sort of greylisting, is there a way to prevent MailEnable from sending the first delay notice? This would allow one retry to occur and hopefully pass the greylisting filter without my customers receiving delay notices. Also, is there any way to configure MailEnable...

After some digging, I have found that all of the servers seem to be running a greylisting service which is causing the mail to fail. http://www.dnspark.com/support/faqs.php?expand=0§ion=6&faq=1 Do you know if Yahoo! uses this service? I've checked their FAQs and help and see no reference to gre...

I am having this same problem, going on for about the last week or so. I've checked dnsstuff.com, and we're not on any spam blacklists, and I am able to successfully telnet to the Yahoo mail server. No dice. My site is hosted at Server Beach - are any of you others that are having problems also host...

It could be worth upgrading to version 1.7 at the following link as there was a fix in the IMAP that may help; http://www.mailenable.com/mailenableprof.exe Let me know how you go. Thanks - I will upgrade to 1.7, as we were still on 1.6, but we're not using the IMAP service at all - it's turned off ...

Erroneous Quota Exceeded messages
I am having this problem too. I checked the folder size, and it was exactly what was being reported in the MMC - around 29KB, while their quota was set to 50000KB. The deleted items folder had been emptied, etc., so the mailbox was truly only using around 29KB. I turned the quota off, hit ok, edited...

Mail System Error - Returned Mail
I have several users who can't seem to receive email from one particular sender. When this gentleman sends messages to them, he gets a response back from his server four days later that says: -----Original Message----- From: Mail Administrator Sent: 3/15/2004 7:04 AM To: mrmiehle@bellsouth.net Subje...
