Maybe there will be improvements in the SMTP security checks to support this in future revisions but at the moment it does not do this and you will need to rely on the filtering mechanism.

Hi,
The message needs to be accepted in order for the FROM and envelope sender addresses to be compared. Therefore the only way to block this is by deleting the message using the delete message action in the filter and then adding the action to notify sender.

Hi,
When you enable 2FA for the post office it will enable the 2FA option for each mailbox within the web mail options so that each mailbox can then configure 2FA. We don't have any means of forcing a user to configure 2FA when they login though.

You mentioned that when the issue occurs you are not able to telnet to the IMAP ports on the MailEnable server from the problematic client machines. Are you able telnet locally to the IMAP service locally on the server itself bypassing any proxies/firewalls at the time of the problem?
