Hi,

What version of MailEnable did you install on the new server? How did you migrate the configuration to the new server?

Re: MAIL Enable Enterprise Premium 6.88 to Mail Enable Enterprise Premium 10.19 (Latest)

Hi, The settings for the MailEnable services etc., are stored in the MailEnable registry. It is not recommended exporting the registry from legacy server and importing it into the new server as there will different IP bindings etc that will cause problems. You will need to set the settings manually ...

Re: webmail error

Hi, Try to access the web mail client locally on the MailEnable server via http://localhost/mewebmail or http://mewebmail.localhost to see of the problem occurs. This will rule out any proxies or firewalls blocking scripts etc. Also inspect the Windows event lo at the time to see if there any report...

Re: Completely blank emails getting through

Hi,

The option "Reject mail if sender address is from invalid domain" is now named "Sender email domain must be local or resolvable through DNS".

Re: Fail to Assign a Task on Outlook

Hi,

The first step is to upgrade your server version to 6.88 located at: http://www.mailenable.com/downloadprevious.asp (its a free upgrade). You also need to upgrade the MAPI client to 2.74 located here: http://www.mailenable.com/MESetup.exe

Re: mailenable protocols website not running

Hi,

It looks like you are binding the 443 to all IP addresses. Try and change the MailEnable Protocols website 443 binding to bind to a specific IP address\ or check which other site is also binding to all IP addresses.

Re: restrict IMAP user to delete email from inbox/sent item

Hi,

No way to do this.

An option/workaround would be to archive all messages that are sent/received by the server so that you have a backup of all emails.

Re: Malformed From Address being accepted

Hi, Technically a "From" address can have multiple addresses, however they need to be separated by a comma. Therefore the "From" in your example is malformed. The issue though is that it looks like the IMAP service is not formatting the From address correctly when synced to the T...

Re: Renaming a mail domain

Hi,

Do you need to rename the domain under a postoffice or you need to rename the postoffice? If postoffice the only way is using the tool. When you say it doesn't work can you elaborate? Are there errors returned?

Re: Server Error in '/' Application

Hi,

Have you altered the MailEnable web mail pages? Was web mail working prior to the upgrade to Enterprise? If you try an access the client locally on the MailEnable server via http://mewebmail.localhost or http://localhgost/mewebmail does the same issue occur?
