List server suggestions

2) Allow password restricted sending to avoid e-mail spoofs (password is in subject and filtered out if correct) Very important. Unfortunately, I am about to write a MTA pickup handler just to avoid this kind of spoofing. It would be nice if a coming release will have this option for list server.

More efficient MTA Pickup Event handling

MailEnable's COM based architecture is very good BUT, please implement some efficient approach to MTA Pickup Event handling. Current approach is like using a CGI module, run and terminate. This means we have to allocate resources each time. Please implement some daemon (like ISAPI) approach to picku...

Error mess using webmail

Could it be the insufficient NTFS permissions on Mail Enable data folders?
Check the permissions of IME_ADMIN, IME_USER
or the user who has IIS anonymous access to MEWebMail web site
on the "C:\Program Files\Mail Enable" and all sub folders.

list server security

Hello Support Team:
Please give some advise on this issue.
Can one of these or some other authorization
methods be implemented in next release?
Otherwise moderated lists can be abused.

Thanks in advance,

list server security hole !!

Hi, I just installed pro version and start testing the list server. Someone can change his/her email adress to moderator's email and post to list. This is a serious problem. I tested it. The server accepted the message and distributed it to members. Other softwares: Some implement a password control...
