Re: New version of Outlook can no longer add IMAP accounts where the IMAP login name is anything other than the email ad
Thanks @Admin, that worked (at least, it works in webmail, so I assume it will work for Outlook when I try it next). Many thanks!

Re: New version of Outlook can no longer add IMAP accounts where the IMAP login name is anything other than the email ad
Here is the Advanced Settings dialog -- as you can see, it's possible to specify a login name for SMTP, but not a login name for IMAP.

New version of Outlook can no longer add IMAP accounts where the IMAP login name is anything other than the email addres
I recently upgraded to the latest version of Outlook for Windows (the about dialog gives this version info: Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.1004.400). The MS documentation refers to this as "New Outlook" or "New Outlook for Windows". When trying to add my MailEnable accounts as IMAP accounts, it fa...

Decrypt password from SMTP logs
Hello! I have the exact same question as this person: https://www.mailenable.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27179 How can we decrypt the password stored in the SMTP log file? I am having a bit of a nightmare debugging an application that definitely appears to be using the right password, but nevertheless...

How to change the default sent items folder for Webmail?
I need to change the default sent items folder for Webmail. Currently webmail uses "Sent Items", but our phone devices and Outlook (all using IMAP) all use "Sent". I would much prefer to modify the way webmail is doing it if at all possible. Any ideas? Ideally we want to do this for every mailbox, b...

Criteria Script - ME_ACCOUNT
Hello! I want to write a filter that captures all outbound emails from specific accounts in one postoffice. The filter should be any account that has the string "itm" in the account name that is used to authenticate . I don't think I can use ME_SENDER for this purpose, because I believe that it refe...

Re: 8.52 MEMIS.exe High CPU
Thanks Dave, very much appreciated.
For the record, I am currently running 8.51, and a reboot of the server made the problem go away - but presumably only as a temporary fix. Simply stopping and restarting the Indexing service did not have any effect.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: 8.52 MEMIS.exe High CPU
Did this get resolved in the end? I just noticed MEMIS.exe taking up a full core... Lucky it's a quad core, otherwise the machine would be bogged down badly.

Allow Relay from privileged IP ranges - but without auth.
Hello! I have a rather strange requirement that I hope you can help me with. On the SMTP connector properties dialog, on the Relay tab, there is a checkbox for "Allow relay for privileged IP ranges". I have added in a particular IP of a customers mail server to this list, because I want them to be a...

Re: How to allow for wildcard address handling?
I just thought of one possible way to handle this - please tell me if this is valid or is perhaps a bad idea from a performance perspective. Using a spreadsheet I can generate 100,000 rows that can be copied and pasted into ADDRESS-MAP.TAB as aliases of the mailbox. However, I can worried that havin...

How to allow for wildcard address handling?
Hello, Sorry to cross-post, but I am keen to find out if this is possible or not. I want to have all messages going to bounce_XXXXX@mydomain.com to arrive in one mailbox. XXXXX is a number anywhere from 1 to 99999. I understand that wildcards are not supported anymore, but is there some other method...

Re: Wildcard multiple catch all accounts in ADDRESS-MAP.TAB
Sorry for digging up an old-thread -
I wanted to know if there is any alternative way to handle this requirement, through filters or something? I want to have all messages going to bounce*@mydomain.com to arrive in one mailbox.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: New security patch causes services to fail to start
Mail Enable responded to a ticket that I opened and indicated a new version, 3.65, is now available for download here: http://www.mailenable.com/downloadprevious.asp I installed this - and now IMAP is working properly. (And I did not get the executable path problem either). Thanks Mail Enable for th...
