Re: Password Issue With Web Administration
FYI, LastPass does have an AutoFill override that can be controlled domain by domain. Once I set this to turn off autofill, the problem went away. Sorry for wasting your time, Ian, but I am really glad I got this figured out as it was beginning to be a real problem. Maybe this will help someone else...

Re: Password Issue With Web Administration
Hi Ian, I am running MailEnable Enterprise 9.54. I did some testing based on your recommendations and I think I've isolated the problem, but still not sure how to fix it or whether it is even something MailEnable can help me with. The first thing I did was try to login to Web Administration using Ch...

Password Issue With Web Administration
I keep running into a problem where if I login to the Web Administration screens using the Artic skin in FireFox, choose a postoffice, then click on Mailboxes and edit an email account in any way and hit save button, it will save any changes I made, but it updates the password for the email account ...

Considering upgrade from 6.83 to 8.x
I currently run MailEnable 6.83 with approximately 1,000 email accounts of which a significant number use their email with their phones. I'm guessing the number would be roughly 50% or more. We have an SSL certificate to provide SSL services for IMAP, POP3, SMTP, etc. (We do not use HTTPS at this ti...

Invalid Email Account Login Attempts
This may be covered elsewhere in this forum, but I've not been able to figure out how to find a solution or at least a suggestion, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone could help. I've been running MailEnable Enterprise for about 10 years now and we are up to Version 6.x (looking to move to ...

Re: Reading .MAI Files
In our case, we are using Acronis Backup Software on our Win2008 Server which images our entire data drive each night and we maintain those images for a period of 7 days. Additionally, we are using the Shadow Copy service that is part of the Win2008 Server, we create 3 shadow copies per day and then...

Re: Reading .MAI Files
I can appreciate your suggestion and I would probably take it if I were restoring just a single mailbox. However, this procedure required a complete restoration of the entire post office from a backup set that included two back ups per day for 20 days. The final restored and consolidated post office...

Reading .MAI Files
I have a situation where an email client has had some problem with employees that are no longer with the company. They have asked me to recover about 20 days worth of snapshot email backups which I am currently working on delivering to them. We choose to store all email in .MAI files as opposed to u...

Ok, I did the update to version 3.04 and checked again and while 'Lists' ARE sortable, when I click 'Edit' a list, and the Edit Window opens the 'Members' are NOT sorted nor is there a way to sort them. I'm not sure if you misunderstood my original message or not, but the customer only has one (1) l...

WebMail Admin - Sorting email addresses in Lists
I have a client with around 500 email addresses in a list that they send newsletters and updates to on a regular basis. It is very cumbersome manage this list via the Webmail Admin screen because when you click 'Edit' on the list and the members are displayed, the members cannot be sorted or searche...

I'm running into the same problem, but in a different way. I have a remote backup system running on the same server as my MailEnable Enterprise 3.03 and after I got finished with the upgrade, the notifications from that are normally sent from the remote backup system couldn't use the SMTP service du...
