Re: Wildcard SSL not working for SMTP and IMAP
Hi Ian, On the W2K8 server that I am having this issue with we are running ME Pro 8.6.1 the errors we received are as follows: 04/27/20 16:08:05 Permissions error opening the certificate store. Inbound SSL will fail unless this service has permissions to the store. See http://www.mailenable.com/kb/C...

Re: Wildcard SSL not working for SMTP and IMAP
Hi Ian, thanks for the quick response. Yes that article does cover it, which I had followed for a W2K12 server and a W2K8 server, however, with the W2K8 server I still have the issue of the certificate not being able to be used. So, are you saying that I should follow the instructions in the article...

Re: Wildcard SSL not working for SMTP and IMAP
Hi,
I am having exactly the same issue.
Can you tell me how to give permissions to the directory the SSL is in?
Is this through MMC with the certificates snap-in or another way?
Many thanks
Marcus

Max PostOffices or Mailboxes per Server
Does anyone have knowledge or even opinion on the max number of post offices or mailboxes that ME Pro can handle on a single server? I guess depends on how many emails being sent/received as well... I have a server with about 60 Post Offices and probably 600 - 1,000 mailboxes that is starting to per...

Easier Way to Migrate Postoffices to New Server
Hi, I have been using ME Pro for a long time now, almost 10 years I think. The biggest issue for me has always been migrating Post Offices to a New Server. Over time, servers become old, the OS becomes extinct/Out of support, or we just need to rebalance. It is quite easy to migrate someone to a Mai...

ME Pro 8.61 Webmail Access is Denied
Hi, I recently upgraded my ME Pro 8 on one server from 8.52 to the latest Ver8 8.61 - this version is running W2K8 R2 64 bit. I now seem to have a permissions error when trying to use webmail. Can bring up the login screen fine, but on successful login I get this runtime error: Access to the path 'C...

Re: How to Set Return-Path for NDRs
Just an update from testing that I've done... adding reply-to: to the headers is supported and when the message is received if you click on reply to reply email address is the one specified. adding return-path: also gets added to the email header, but ME message delivery failure mechanism only sends...

How to Set Return-Path for NDRs
Hi, I have ME Pro 8 and sending out emails using MEMail.Messagein ASP. Is it possible in ME to set the Return-Path: so a specific email address ? Or do NDRs HAVE to go back to the From: email address? Is it just a case of adding oMail.AddHeader("Return-Path: me@mydomain.com") I am currently utilisin...

Re: MigrationCentre has Stopped Working
Thanks Ian,
Does need to be done just on the new server or on the old server as well (in my case the old server is running W2k8)?
I assume just the new server..
thanks

Is there a 64Bit version of MEASP.dll ?
Hi, I have finally moved over to running on W2K12 R2 and have a bit of an issue with some VBScripts that I run as batch jobs doing housekeeping work. These jobs send an email to me at the end confirming that they have completed OK. Unfortunately, on the W2K12 machine, they are failing because the ME...

Re: ME Sending False NDR emails back to sender
Hi Ian, thanks for the reply. I have checked the logs and found nothing out of the ordinary. The NDRs are definitely not spam because the users are reporting that they are getting the NDRs for specific emails that they sent approx. 5 days later - they aren't saying they are getting NDRs for emails t...
