So, found it... I case anybody cares:

the SMTP timeout for remote mailservers was set (too) low, timeout expired and the message could not be deliverd.

The second connection the server was making was not trying to deliver the message... It was sending us a NDR message... DUH!

Problem solved!

Mailbox Delivery Event not working Delivery Failure notifi's

Hi, We use a mailbox delivery event to process emails for a certain address. I've just found out that for some reason the event is not triggered for Delivery Failure notifications. Does anybody have experience with this? is this designed behavour or a bug? I would like to process these as well.... C...

Mailbox Delivery Event not running on DNR's

Hi,

I have a custom action defined for a mailbox that moves messages to a database.

It seems the action is not called at all for delivery failure messages delivered to this mailbox....

Can anybody help me out here?
