Origin IP Address different from domain IP

ME Ent v5 We have recently moved our ME to another server. The server hosts multiple web sites/applications etc., so have multiple IP addresses bound to the NIC. Since the move, we realized we are not able to send to AOL email addresses. The SMTP activity log indicates a rDNS problem. One of my cust...

Re: relay issue after move to Server 2008 Web Edition

OK, we have solved the relay authetication problem (503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address). The problem was that ME could not find the address-map.tab/auth.tab files to authenticate the relay. We moved the Config folders to another server ...

ME Ent v5.04 - Set up F-Prot 6 with default configuration. I had the ClamAV configured at the same time as well but all of my logs were saying Error scanning attachment - Command Line Scanner Process ("C:\PROGRA~1\MAILEN~1\Antivirus\ClamAV\clamdscan.exe" "C:\PROGRA~1\MAILEN~1\Scratch\31366F~1.MAI\1....

Moving message store to another server in domain

ME Ent v5.0 - I want to move my message stores to a file server in the domain. I reviewed ME020146 - HOWTO: How to change the location of the message store, but am unclear on the IME_ADMIN account as it is a local account that only exists on the mail server. Do I need to set up a domain account? Tha...

domain name does not have any DNS records

ME Pro 3.6 - All of the sudden, today, we cannot send email to a particular domain. The Message Delivery Failure returns: Reason: The message could not be delivered because the domain name (ourclientcompanyname.com) does not have any DNS records. I ran through the mxtoolbox.com checks and ME's tool ...

Re: 550 Verification failed for <sender@mysender.com>

I believe the issue is resolved. The MX record for the mysender.com domain was with GoDaddy and allowed the entry of an IP address. I changed the MX from the static IP address to mail.mysender.com and now it works.

Yes, this is a valid email address and I have been using it successfully with no trouble for quite a while. Diagnostics come up with no errors.

I have already set a Delete Message filter on the IP but it still is creating an endless stream like the following: 01/13/09 05:33:...

Problem solved: First of all, Yahoo was absolutely no help in resolving this. For 5 consecutive days, I filled out their form, and only received the same canned response, regardless of my requests for more help in their form. The resolution was evident when I was able to send to yahoo via mewebmail ...
