Mail Not Leaving Inbound Queue

For the past 2 weeks mail has been building up in the inbound queue. When I try to send an email I don't see it show up at all in the outbound queue either. Restarting all services does not have any effect, but the problem goes away for about 2-3 days after restarting the entire server. Looking at t...

Ben, any update on this in the issue register? I have several customers that are having problems with either spam being redirected or auto responders going out to all spammers & them getting a ton of delivery failures as a result. I did try using your script as a temporary workaround, but it doesn't...

The thing is that we have a lot of domains on this server, and users can change their redirection at any time, so it would be impractical to keep reconfiguring the filter. There really has to be a way in MailEnable to not redirect messages marked as spam.

Redirection + Spam

I have about 100 domain on my server, and I noticed a ton of rejected messages in the SMTP outbound queue. I looked into further & found that some of my users have redirection turned on, and MailEnable is trying to forward their spam to the same address, even though the MTA filters marked the messag...

Any idea when this will be added?

Mailbox Cleanup + Webmail

In Gmail, there are notifications at the top of the Spam and Trash folders that say that e-mails older than 30 days will automatically be deleted.

I would like to see the .NET webmail display a similar notification, depending on what settings are in the mailbox cleanup tool.

I agree, this is a necessity for anyone who would like to charge for hosting and limit space for each customer.

I noticed it couldn't clean archives but it could detect viruses within them on a server scan. I'll check out the /ARCHIVE=x later (can't get to f-prot.com right now). Thanks for the help & advice!

I bought F-Prot, since I don't think I can get a better recommendation than from Ben & Martyn.

The only thing I don't like is that it apparently can't clean files in arcnhives, but otherwise it seems to be running well on 2 servers I installed on so far.

What is considered "balanced" by auto-training? Within 5%? 10%? 20%?

I have been proceeding on the assumption that auto-training would count all ham and spam, and then every few days I would manually merge some more spam or ham into the dictionary to balance it out myself.

Best AntiVirus Software for MailEnable?

I'm undecided about which command line Antivirus software to use. It has to be effective, definitions updated frequently and quickly, and able to run in multiple instances (don't want to have to set the MTU threads to 1) reliably.

What AV program do you use/recommend?

Per Postoffice Webmail Restrictions

One of my clients has a need to not allow a certain postoffice to redirect their webmail, as they want to make all of their users use webmail for their primary e-mail. Two reasons for this: they ensure that all of their internal e-mails aren't blocked by each ISP's spam filters, and can update the W...

Most every spam organization (SpamHaus, SpamCop, etc.) requires that a particular spam be reported so many times before being added to the DNS banned lists. What would be really slick is to have a background script as part of ME that would automatically generate a spam report to whatever DNS Blackl...

Please Update Message Purge Utility

I think the Message Purge Utility (http://www.mailenable.com/addons_Management.asp) is great for saving some space used by users that delete messages and then forget to delete them from the Deleted Items folder. Please update this great utility to also be able to purge messages from the Quarantine o...
