ME with Kaspersky for Windows File Server 8.0 - working reg key
The following registry key almost works as desired with ME Enterprise 9 - it deletes infected mails but does not allow cleaning of affected items and therefore will not change the subject line of inbound mails, or substitute a "removed" line for infected attachments. In other words this is binary; a...

ME Enterprise 9.53 with Kaspersky for WinFile Server 8.n
Based on the recommended template I'm trying to use the following registry settings, but they appear to be having no effect: the various EICAR pseudo virus packages are not detected or deleted in testing. Running the MTA in debug mode isn't telling me anything - perhaps because I don't know what I n...

Re: Version 8.6 recent Webmail issues
And now wondering just how long it is going to take Mail Enable to respond to that ticket.
Is it unreasonable to expect a reply within three days?

Re: Version 8.6 recent Webmail issues
Mewebmail.localhost exists; it is currently bound to "*" but as I said in my original message, changing the binding makes no difference. The problem still happens with an explicit binding to localhost on 127 or to the actual public IP. This is new behaviour following the update to 8.6. Current evide...

Re: MailEnable WebMail Responsiveness Error
I had posted a solution earlier in the thread. And people told you almost immediately that your solution does not work, so repeating the suggestion isn't helpful. I'm seeing a very similar issue and error with webmail with an almost identically formatted error message: changing the binding does not...

Version 8.6 recent Webmail issues
"MailEnable WebMail Responsiveness: Encountered an error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:80" This is a recent issue. We have now received about a dozen or so such messages over the last 3 days. The message recurs regardless of the binding - wheth...

8.6.Upgrade no longer quotes previous messages in conversation
Users report that whereas previously when replying to emails the previous messages were quoted/attached, this has now stopped working.

8.6 Upgrade loses Signatures for all Webmail users
Title more or less says it all - Webmail users have lost their previously configured signatures.
Signatures.xml files are present and seem to be perfectly valid.

Re: Regular MELDAP failure with 8.51
Am now also finding that the ME Indexing service refuses to respond correctly to a "restart all" command within the ME console. Looking at it right now in the services console: the Indexing Service has been in a "stopping" state for the last hour. Only fix is a reboot. This is not the first time thi...

Re: Regular MELDAP failure with 8.51
Tks: it's not the service startup type. This is a failure some [variable] time after the service starts.

Re: How to connect ME Webmail to my Active Directory LDAP
There is however a possible alternative solution: As far as I know ME uses OpenLDAP and it is perfectly possible to integrate OpenLDAP with AD such that OpenLDAP queries will work in AD and vice versa. See http://windowsitpro.com/networking/integrate-active-directory-and-openldap Note that the comma...
