Re: Possible to only score RBL hits and not "Mark as spam"?

It seems pointless to have weighting options for RBLs under the "Spam Protection" area, so I must be missing something. When I uncheck "Enable DNS blacklisting" then the option becomes unavailable under Spam Protection. Something isn't adding it.

Possible to only score RBL hits and not "Mark as spam"?

We're running into the problem where clients have senders whitelisted but the host they're sending from gets onto a RBL and then the "Mark as spam" option trumps the whitelist entries. Is there a way to override this to where only the scoring takes place and the whitelist still works? Will the new v...

Possible to send virus e-mails to junk folder rather than being replaced with warning string?(ME Enterprise + Clam)

Is it possible to have e-mails that are detected as viruses sent to the user's junk folder and keep the attachment intact rather than having the attachment being replaced with the "WARNING: An attachment has been removed" string? I know that a content filter can be used to mark any virus e-mails as ...

Re: Mailing list modification issue

Thank you very much Ian, it ended up being that the mailing list was limited to 1000, so the import pushed it over this limited and was causing the issue.

Re: Archiving

I agree, there needs to be more options. Coming from visnetic, mail would be stored for x amount of days in a folder for each user, in this format: \archivefolder\domain\user This way, if someone deleted all of their e-mail by accident, you could recover their e-mail from your most recent backup set...

[SOLVED] Mailing list modification issue

From within the MMC we created a mailing list for a client's domain, imported their members list, but now when the user attempts to manage the list using the administrative website, the "Add members" list is greyed out, and also the mailing list can't be disabled, so I am guessing this comes down to...

Re: How do I shorten Account Lockout Interval?

Ian, just jumping in here to say I've researched lockout issues before and having some more options would be nice such as being able to delist someone without restarting services or having the ability to modify the length of the ban. I'm more interested in having the ability to clear bans as it isn'...

WebAdmin mailbox redirection and group bugs in 8.03

Two bugs(one anyway) I've experienced in 8.03 of WebAdmin, curious if others have this in 8.05 still: Redirects for a mail account: I attempted to create a new user called orders@domain.com to redirect mail to other accounts with the "Redirect mail to" option selected and a list of addresses separat...

Re: too many failed authentication attempts

We've run into this issue with IMAP recently, so any update to this would be appreciated. I might just trace the database and call it a day, but an API call or a place in the GUI would be much more helpful than restarting services.

That's great for newly created postoffices, but settings aren't inherited on new users.

Configuring mailbox defaults using MESOCU in database mode

While postoffice.sys and mailbox.sys are honored in TABulated (non-database) mode to specify mailbox and postoffice setting defaults, these files aren't honored in database mode. Has anyone accomplished a workaround for this?

Re: Advanced Scripting not working as I would expect

The filtering engine is definitely buggy. /rant It appears that adding HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Agents\MTA\Filters\MTAFILTER\Debug Status as per http://www.mailenable.com/mailenable/help/filtering_scripting.asp causes the filter to not trigger, at least in my ...

Re: Advanced Scripting not working as I would expect

That might have been the culprit. That, and not restarting the MTA after my changes.
