[SOLVED] SPF tests not checking for PTR with btinternet.com addresses

Hi, It appears MailEnable SPF tests are not checking the PTR mechanism within a domains SPF rules. e.g. sender with btinternet.com address which itself has "v=spf1 ip4:65.20.0.0/24 include:bt.com include:_spf.mail.yahoo.com ~all" and _spf.mail.yahoo.com = "v=spf1 ptr:yahoo.com ptr:yahoo.net ?all" Th...

IMAP Search Index?

Does search over IMAP use the MailEnable index files? When a couple of people do a search at the same time, disk usage is insane and cripples everything else on the server

Webmail Incorrect Summary Page Unread Count Summary vs Folder

Since upgrading to 9.03 webmail is giving an incorrect unread count on the summary page, however when you go to the folder it is then corrected.

Presumably a cache is not being updated?

MailEnable 9 Webmail Reply Email Bug

When replying to an email, if the FROM header in the original email has the name quoted, the name is not stripped out and you have to manually strip away everything except the email address in order to send. e.g. From: Name <test@test.com> Will be okay and the recipient will be just the email addres...

Re: MailEnable 9 Webmail Reply Email Hangs (Fixed)

Actually although this allows the page/javascript to continue, there is still a problem with the value within To field, which only wants to have an email address and no name at all

The quote marks seem to brake that part

MailEnable 9 Webmail Reply Email Hangs (Fixed)

Just fixed a javascript error with the MailEnable 9 Webmail Scenario is replying to an email when the recipient contains quote marks. Basically these are not escaped and cause javascript errors. I edited C:\Program Files (x86)\Mail Enable\bin\NETWebMail\Mondo\lang\sys\Forms\MAI\Compose.aspx and chan...

Re: Provider Migration Not Switching to MySQL on 64bit

Further experimentation found that the answer was to simply turn off UAC for the migration to work!

Provider Migration Not Switching to MySQL on 64bit

I've installed 64bit Enterprise 8.51 (unregistered at the moment) on to a server 2008 64bit machine. (My ultimate goal being a move from server 2003 to server 2008) I have a 32bit install of ODBC 3.51 for the migration tool. The Migration tool couldn't create the DSN itself reporting "Unable to crea...

Webmail Compose Auto Link Creation

Hi, Is it possible for text that is typed/pasted into the MailEnable webmail HTML email composer to automatically be converted into a HTML link? E.g. The user types in www.google.co.uk and either after submitting or preferably typing/pasting it is converted into a clickable link on the fly? I notice...
