Here is some more information: I am running IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008 x64 SP2 The problem is definitely with the MailEnable user accounts and the policies/permissions associated with them. When I change the MailEnableAppPool Application Pool Identity from IME_ADMIN to IME_USER the WebMail page sh...

WebMail HTTP 500 Error (0x80070542)
Recently an error appeared on my server with MailEnable Pro 3.61. WebMail stopped working after some updates and now I get a 500 error on all webmail sites. Resetting permissions etc. does not help. In Procmon I see a CreateFile entry for default.asp from w3wp.exe in the NetWebMail folder with the e...

ME 2.52 Pro WebMail not working with Win 2008 / IIS7
I have a little problem. I made frequent use of WebMail on my old server but Windows 2008 / IIS7 seems to cause problems with ME 2.52 Pro. When installing it says that ASP .NET is not properly configured with IIS, but it is, I can open numerous .aspx test pages on my sites. Will there be an update t...

Ok one thing is really annoying though. After adding/removing any MEWebAdmin or MEWebMail page I have to reapply the reg file because the script errors return. Also after creation/removal of any postoffice I have to reapply the .reg file. That's pretty annoying since I am hosting dozens of domains a...

Different HELO and other things for a multi-user environment
Hi, I am hosting around 30 domains on one server with the mail server running on a specific IP. One big issue I have is that Mail Enable only allows me to enter one HELO for the server even when it hosts 30 mail domains. So the HELO greeting will only return an RFC valid result for one mail domain. ...

Sorry if I am a little late on this but I think one very important thing hasn't been mentioned here yet. You should absolutely make sure that your DNS server has a PTR (Reverse DNS) entry for your mail servers address. For example when your mail server is called mail.domain.com and has the ip 1.2.3....

I need a working anti-spam method
Can anyone tell me how to stop spam on my server? I get like 7000 spam mails a day. They are mostly filtered by the Outlook 2003 Junk-Mail Filter but I would prefer if they'd been filtered on the server already.
