Re: Thousands of AUTH LOGIN Attempts
Another option that might be worth investigating - https://itefix.net/win2ban or https://github.com/DigitalRuby/IPBan . I am yet to use/trial this and would appreciate any comments from those who dive in. IPBan seems OK. Update: IPBan is already configured for Mailenable SMTP logging - see ipban.con...

Re: Thousands of AUTH LOGIN Attempts
Not sure about standard edition. The enterprise edition has localhost -> Policies -> Properties It can be sensitive but you can: 'Mailenable can be setup to block a user for 1 hour after X(5) failed login attempts 'One solution - Rely entirely on inbuilt blocking failed attempts. Use only very long ...

Re: ME 10.3 Spam Protection not updating Email Headers
As a prior MX_Scan user - I solved my problems by installing spam assassin in a box (buying the service version). https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020596 (Thanks Mailenable). I wanted access to the SPAMAssassin Headers which I agree appear to be stripped by MailEnable. So I had...

This might be all a small number of users really needs: https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020596 Also possibly https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/10.0/Enterprise/How_to_enable_Message_Filtering.html# Message Filtering / Bayesian filtering / Configuring Bayesian Filtering.

Re: MTA pickup event - move to junk folder
Might be wrong - Add a header that ensures that it will be rejected by Filters. And then manually add MAI/EML via IMAP route reading passwords and account from AUTH.TAB ... You have to have a e.g. a library to add an EML via IMAP (eg ASPOSE Email). There is probably an easier way. I don't know how. ...

?Write your own MTA Filter program with say ASPOSE.Email
I think that Independentsoft MSG is also possible but I battled a bit with differentiating internal embeds.
I don't know how to do this with MAILENABLE alone. It might be possible.

Re: MagicSpam vs. Barracuda
Yes, I agree, it would have been good if they had purchased MXSCAN Anyway there are other options using the Mailenable MTA https://github.com/carlostrub/sisyphus https://github.com/saintienn/go-spamc + say electron for a GUI. As an aside my personal view is that they should not be programming stuff ...

I am also still using MXScan
What are the problems with built in MailEnable Spam Filtering? I haven't looked at it in depth yet.
Has anyone built their own SPAM filtering solution?

OUTLOOK As Sent -and- MAPI Update Delay on Sent
Problem 1: With Outlook, the messages in "Sent Items" are not those actually "as sent". For example if I add a footer using MTA or headers, the original message is stored in "Outlook Sent Items" and not the "as sent - to be received" message. If any one has any ideas how to get the "as sent" message...

Re: Multiple Calendar Creations
I has been a while since this was posted. I had the same requirement for month default. So what i did was set the calendar as the default view in Webmail (its an option when logged into Webmail). Then in the Cal directory with List.aspx you can add the frames line below (add it to PageLoadComplete a...

Re: Blank Emails (Again)
This was my issue - apparently blank files in Outlook created by MAI files like Return-Path: <wffydffiraedsv@duerrbeck.com> Message-ID: <M[20-25 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook 15.0 Thread-Index:...
