Re: SMTP INBOUND QUEUE All Incoming messages (Status Undelivered)
OK, In my particular situation. It was caused by corruption of files, that ended up taking out my virtual disk. I installed a new VM and installed ME and imported all my files and the place the queue, and sat there and watched it eat it up. All were delivered to their mailboxes. So, if anyone runs i...

Re: SMTP INBOUND QUEUE All Incoming messages (Status Undelivered)
So, I was copying the Mail Enable folder to a backup folder, and It would NOT copy over. I had to do each folder by itself. 3 files showed as corrupted. And then, when I check Event Viewer. It showed: the device, \device\harddisk0\dr0, has a bad block So, I am moving the backup folder off from the V...

SMTP INBOUND QUEUE All Incoming messages (Status Undelivered)
Hello All; MailEnable Standard latest install (Update) Nothing added, all standard. OK, this just started the other day. Prior to the 19th of May, 2018, mail had been working flawlessly. Restart SMTP Services through vb.net script
Hello.
How can I restart the SMTP Service through script?
I am working on an add-on to the mailenable, and I need to restart SMTP Services.
Any information, links to mailenable examples or write up would be great.
Thanks All
Carrzkiss

Re: disable DNS recursion preventing emails from arriving
@Bret.
I know this is old.
But your information is still valid.
I has stopped recursion on my DNS, and never knew that mail was not being delivered.
I changed to my ISP's DNS and all is good now.
Thank you
Wayne

IP Reputation That is why I posted this: https://www.mail-tester.com/ It will test everything and let you know what is going on with your IP and Email. And I have tested my IP Address, to make sure it is not blocked. right now, there is no one on my server, it is used for our websites for sending ou...

Re: Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
There was no down time in creating the record in the domain. See, each domain has to have their own DKIM. Then you have to take that DKIM and enter it into the DNS for that Domain as well. It is quick and painless. Took me all of about 2 minutes to do everything. Go here and test it once you have it...

Re: Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
It seems that it is only available through the post office now.
Have you tested your DKIM to see if the one you have set for your post office is working?

@myourchisin >> Captain Rude Flakes OK, you asked a question in my thread, targetted towards Ian Of which, you should have placed a @Ian or some other reference to him. So that both Ian and myself would have known that you were asking HIM a question and not me. In a thread that was for something els...

Re: Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
So, my assumption is that you did not fully read what I wrote. I have a score of 10/10 With NOT having the DKIM, the score was a 7/10 Adding the DKIM within Mail Enable, put the score up to 9/10 Then I took care of a SPAM issue that had been attached to my IP Address since before I got it. And that ...

Re: Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
I did an email score check here https://www.mail-tester.com/web-38vvs 10/10 Score. (Had to correct some issue, and now my IP Address has the perfect score, according to the Mail tester site) And my email is still ending up in the SPAM folders of all major email servers. Any others idea's on getting ...

Re: Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
So, I got everything to pass. Learned a lot about different records that needs to be added to the Mail Server and the DNS. This is the results from the header from LIVE.com Authentication-Results: spf=pass (sender IP is MY_IP_HERE) smtp.mailfrom=MY_DOMAIN_HERE; hotmail.com; dkim=pass (signature was ...

Re: Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
Thanks, Ian.
I created a DKIM and authenticated it on my server, and followed the steps to set it up with MailEnable for the Domain.
I will wait a few hours or maybe tomorrow, and send a message out and see what I get.

Sending to Hotmail and other providers shows up in their spam Folder
Hello All; Years ago, I did not have this issue with my mail showing up in the SPAM folders of Hotmail, however. For my understanding of dealing with this 2 years ago, was that Hotmail had changed the way they receive mail. So, question today is: How to get your mail to NOT go into the spam folder f...

Re: Can send by not receive email
Hello everyone. This got resolved today. All is good again. It was a port issue, Port 25. It was an IP issue. For someone reason, I had to remove the external IP Address from my NIC. It has been there for 5 years now, and with the new modem's, It had to be removed. Go figure. It was causing everythi...
