Its only one user from a client....

The rest is working fine.

Outlook profile deleted.
New profile created.
Everything is configured the same as the other users.
She is still seeing the box.... and it doesnt change.

I havent seen this error yet with 10 years at Mailenable.

We havent upgraded since 10.35 because of issues. If you read the lelease notes for the different versions a lot of bugs get introduced again over time. So currently holding of until things are stable enough to upgrade. Things that are basic and absolutely critical to clients. ADD: Updated MEActivit...

Start with a reboot of the server.

Make sure its patched and updated from Microsoft.

Test again if you can delete user.

There are quite a few bugs in the latest versions that can be pretty annoying.

AutoArchiving doesnt work

Hi

A user has hit 50GB in his mailbox and trying to archive in an external .pst file.

It doesnt work and the default .pst file doesnt get any smaller and the number of mails in the mailbox doesnt get smaller either.

What to do??

Archiving doesnt make the .pst smaller in Outlook

When reached maximum size of 50GB and trying to archive, then when done, the .pst should be significantly smaller.

It isnt.

So outlook keeps crashing and having odd behaviour.

Archiving to external file on a share and it doesnt grow in size despite outlook saying it has archived a lot of mail.

Happening to me to on one account.

Constantly updating the inbox dialogue box appears and halts the user to her frustration.

Flags are changing on her emails randomly. Currently monitoring her session via teamviewer.

I am facing the exact same issue with ONE user on a Terminal Server from MS.

Nobody else has the problem. I have created a brand new profile for her but nothing helps.

I even reinstalled her RD for her to no avail.

Next step is to reinstall the outlook connector on the server.

Clean Up strategy for postoffice??

Instead of having to configure outlook for every client then a global setting in Mailenable to clean (delete or archive) any mail above a certain age in a mailbox.

That would be very handy indeed according to GDPR regulations here in EU.

We have lost major clients due to lack of features in outlook compared to outlook.com

Its freaking annoying.
