Yes that's what you need to do.

Fyi, I use Symmantec End Point, and even turn on Firewall, it automatically blocked those bots and other attacks.

Is there a way to add this feature? It's very useful to mitigate a hacked account sending out thousands of email in a short period of time.

or in ME the feature under SMTP "Limit number of recipients per hour to xx per hour" does this?

That means we just have to manually do it every 3 months. Actually, while the certificates are created for 3 months, you're supposed to renew them 30 days early, so you should do it every two months.
