You'd better knock on wood Paarlberg  I cant help but chuckle at those people that want patches rushed to production, then yell when its borked. I've seen far too much of this in the games industry and personally I would much prefer stable vs getting it NOW! Maybe its just me and my old age but...

I had not heard about the 2.x upgrades yet. Was this new or is my old age showing? I realize you are only up to about version 1.6 so I'm excited to hear talk of version 2.x :D Any direction you can point me for this information Ben? I'm currently a registered pro user but I had planned on upgrading ...

Ya start with the diagnostics and see what (if any) failures/warnings show up. This is a good way to check the basic configuration of your server to spot obvious problems. You may also want to check your server logs (by that I mean the OS logs, not just Mailenable logs) to see if there are any error...

Have you checked your logs to see what (if any) errors are being produced? No way for us to help you without more information.

.zip files can also be banned so yes that can be solved too. What I do is allow .zip's so my users can get around the attachment filter (if for some reason they MUST have some banned file types), but I strongly warn them to properly scan all files before they open them. I use the attachment filterin...

I use avg pro with pretty good results. What you may also want to consider is to ban certain attachments like.scr which most users wont use. I ban some 24 different file types, and when combined with my anti virus and other filters makes it almost impossible for viruses to make it past my server. No...

As an afterthought I figured I'd add an html form sample for you as well. This is the bit of code to slap into your webpage to give the user a field they can type in their email address so the above script can process it. <form name="Sample-1" action="/scripts/scriptname.asp" method="post"> <p align...

Sure thing, this script is a sample that should get ya going. The sections below in bold are fields you need to fill in to make it work with your form. You will also need a page called "you-are-now-subscribed.html" which this script will display when it works and subscribes an email addy to your lis...

I use MEFilter in conjuction with the filters built into ME Pro to stop these. Each time one slips by the filters I ban the IP, the sending domain, add content filters for the new spellings, domain names, and anything else unique to the spam mail that I can get my grubby little fingers on. Most of t...

Uh, its pretty clear on the features page: http://www.mailenable.com/features.asp that Multi-Lingual support is not included with Pro version. But they do offer Multi-Lingual webmail in Enterprise. Not sure if they include Hebrew with Enterprise but it sure would be a good question to ask ME Support...

I've used ME Pro for over 2 years now, I find it to be an excellent mail platform. Spam is always a problem but I have been able to use MEFilter and stamp out almost all spam (Thanks MartynK). Before I setup my own mail server I used to get 200+ emails per day (of which only 20-30 were valid, the re...

Yikes, ok I see what you are saying now. Ya that's really not a great way to run a newsletter. You should consider a list server (its included in all ME packages). What I do is set up a list server for each group of users that I want to send a newsletter to. I use a password on the list to prevent u...
