Has there been an update to this issue or is it still outstanding?

And on a somewhat related note, is there a way to change the session timeout so that it can be longer than 30 minutes or just disable the timeout and/or javascript alert altogether?

It was ASCII (which must have been selected by default). I've switched it to UTF-8 and will see if that has any effect.

I'm having the same issue with a client of mine - they spent money to upgrade specifically for webmail and are having a number of issues with it. I'm kicking myself for not having spent some quality time evaluating it first. I have had great success with MailEnable as a server app, so I expected the...

We have the same problem in our installation as well, running the latest version of professional. Came here looking for help :)

It looks like it may be an IE issue as I don't seem to get the question marks from Firefox, Safari or Opera

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I explained correctly, so please let me try again :) Anonymous visitors are using our mail server to send outgoing mail to the same domain/server -- in wich case, authentication is not required (because it's not technically a relay). The spammers/worm/whatever p...

I realize this is an old post, but I wanted to reply in here since I am having the same issue and I can't find a resolution in the forums anywhere. Basically, we've got a problem with our web server where spammers are connecting via SMTP with a randomly generated local e-mail address (for which no m...

Thanks for the reply though - this looks interesting and I'll keep it on hand to try out in the future.

Thanks for the replies! I need to queue messages for delivery via w3JMail Professional via an ASP script, which is why I'm using MSSMTP side by side with QMail. If I can queue them up for delivery with QMail, that would be awesome, but I posted an earlier message and was informed that QMail wouldn't...

Any ideas?

I'm currently attempting to drop the file directly into the MailEnable inbox directory for the user in question. Still waiting to find out if it worked for sure, but the e-mail does show up in the administrator panel for that mailbox (under the messages tab)

Dropping messages directly into mailbox?

So here's one that doesn't look like it's been asked yet :) I've got Mail Enable running alongside MSSMTP. MailEnable handles all the incoming SMTP, POP, and outgoing SMTP by validated accounts. MSSMTP handles all SMTP for scripts sending automated messages on the server via w3Jmail. Works like a ch...

Thank you :)

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to run the MS SMTP server alongside of MailEnable, but that's a perfect solution and the kb article was perfect.

w3Jmail and queing outgoing messages

My question is in regards to queing messages for delivery from an ASP script with MailEnable Standard. I am trying to use w3JMail (Dimac.net) with MailEnable, specifically, the nq() function which writes outgoing messages to a pickup directory for delivery. * Is there a directory that is equivalent ...
