SMTP blocked addresses not working with catchall
I have a dozen or so blocked addresses defined in the Properties page of the SMTP connector, addresses that get a lot of spam and nothing non-spam (previous employees of the company, mainly). I recently reassigned the catchall to a different mailbox for one of our domains (to my mailbox), and I'm ge...

Not only is it not technically relaying, it's not relaying at all. The behavior you describe will occur whether you have the "allow relay for authenticated senders" checked or not -- in fact that behavior will occur regardless of what ANY of your relay settings are. The reason, is that if you want a...

Question
I noticed that several days ago you changed the Beta download page -- you changed all the dates on the beta versions to May 27th. The Enterprise 1.1 beta previously showed a date of Mar 27th I believe. So it looks like you updated everything recently, but I'm not sure that you actually did anything ...

He doesn't want to use an alternate folder for Sent Items, he still wants to use Sent Items for that. He wants another folder "Retained Sent Items" or something that he can move messages into from his sent items to make sure he always keeps them. He can't figure out how to get the "To:" field to app...

Use a special "from" address, something like "aspcode@yourdomain.com" or some such. As long as you're authenticating to send (or if your web server is the same as your mail server, you could have relay allowed for 127.0.0.1) then ME will still accept it. Then you can just look through the logs for t...

Outlook Express question
One of our users is trying to set the columns in Outlook Express to show the "To:" column by right-clicking the column area and choosing Columns. However, it doesn't show that column as available for any folder except the default ones like Inbox and Sent Items. He's trying to make another sent items...

bayesian dictionary
Our auto-training, although enabled, doesn't appear to be changing the dictionary in any way. What would be the best way to go about creating a new dictionary from scratch and having the autotrainer just add to it from mails it receives on our catchall account? 95% of the stuff we get in there daily...

Oh, heh, just noticed this is the Professional forum, so you might not be running Enterprise. I'm not sure if the "Blocked Addresses" feature is available in professional, but I think it is. Let me know if you can't find it, I suppose it _could_ be an Enterprise only feature. But I think it's in Pro...

Next time your server is dictionary-attacked by a spammer, tell me how valuable the "banned address" feature is. I've been there. I know. Are you saying it is valuable or it isn't valuable? Because if you're saying it isn't valuable (I admit the MMC interface to it is a little unwieldy), then (1) y...

Before the latest release, I definitely would have agreed that it's not really ready for production. However, the newest beta release of all products (we're on Enterprise 1.1) has, as the above poster mentioned, showed a remarkable improvement in IMAP. Like, triple the speed, it seems. It's actually...

Active Directory authentication
We have Integrated Authentication enabled for our postoffices, authenticated against our Active Directory domain. It works great for logging in, however... It seems that the part where "successful login creates an account if it doesn't already exist" has stopped working. It USED to work, but now it ...
