Advanced Scripting

I am trying to do some advanced scripting in the filters. I would liek to be able to push all outgoing, authenticated emails NOT going to the spam address to ham. I have the first two parts down. FilterResult=0 If CriteriaMet([ME_TO],"Ham") AND CriteriaMet([ME_SENDERAUTH],"No") Then FilterResult=1 E...

I am having the issue where the MMC freezes and shows "not responding" when looking in several places, including some post offices, outgoing queue and bad mail. If I let it go long enough, it (usually) eventually displays what I am loooking for, but it may take 5-10 minutes. This is a rather beefy s...

The problem with the groups is that you don't have as much control over them as the list servers. In some cases we want a moderated list for members only. As for the members getting access to admin, that is not an issue since I would create a web page that they can check off which lists they want to...

Creating web list of mailing lists on server

First, let me start by saying we have the pro version: I am trying to put together two different lists of mailing lists on web pages ; one for members (restricted by access restrictions) and one for the public. The difference would be the setting of allowing people to subscribe via e-mail. Essential...

Actually, I have noticed that even with these settings, mail can be relayed AS an authenticated user to users on the system, but not out. I found this by using the mail-abuse realy check. It seems that I still get the e-mails sent to people on my server despite the fact that I don't allow any realyi...

You just need to be more creative in your complaints ;) Actually the list changes in 1.7 are great! There are a few more I'd like to see, but I know they will get to them in due time. Another neat feature of 1.7 is the list only feature (only list members can send to it), private lists (public canno...

I had another thought the other day. This may be more for the Enterprise version, but it would be nice to have a way to archive list messages in a database and/or in HTMl format so they cen be queried and viewed. This might even be a third-party add-on, but if you could put the handler into the list...

Wel, one I have had issues with is SpamCop. They tend to get just as menay legitimate e-mails banned as spam. I can run 4-5 others at once and not get nearly as menay issues as I have had with SpamCop.

I am playing with tis update now. The only thing missing that bugs me is that you can't "approve" a message. You can decide if you want to allow subscriptions or not, but as far as I can tell, you can't have someone send in a subscribe e-mail, have it forward to the moderator and then have it approv...

Don't forget something importnat mentioned here IME_ADMIN would need to have domain admin rights. This _could_ be a security risk. From a security standpoint, it is probably a wise idea to not allow password changes from the webmail and make them change it via other Windows methods. Of course this i...

ME has mentioned this will be available in the Developer beta and then get moved to the Pro and standard. For now, the only way to limit is to make it moderated and then only the moderator can post.

YOu keep mentioning that the list server funcationality will be increased with Enterprise. Is there a price for Enterprise yet? And more imprtantly for us, is there an upgrade from Pro to Enterprise.
