Is there anything else common about the e-mails?

Can you not Blacklist the domain that e-mails are coming from?

I would run the Anti-virus plug-in regardless. When you send it back you to yourself, what Delets it and why is the reason it gets deleted.

Might want to look your log files over for a possible clue to your issue.

Well.. hehe.. yours. :P Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that your system has a problem, I am just trying to give you a place to look for possible issues from my findings. But if you are unable to make the socket connect, then it is possible that you are the one with the issue. I have tested this...

It could be a slow DNS resolution issue. I have a server that has this issue from tiem to time as well. I go into the que and force it to try again and it will y get its head clear and send the message after a few tries. Look to see if your DNS server has any errors in the DNS event log. Good luck S...

Check to make sure that you have reverse zones for your mail server. As a rule, when I set up my DNS I set up an MX record, then host records for pop, smtp and mail. I then set up reverse entries for pop, smtp & mail. I know a lot of people do it different, but it seems that these days having the re...

The mail that is in the que, does it indicate why it is there and has not been sent. ie socket failure or something along those lines. Anything stand out in the SMTP Debug logs? Are you unsing any other...

Re: MEFilter - Next Version

I've only been using the spam feature for a few days, haven't had much problem with spam in the past, but the filter is working. Having not used it long i'm not sure if this would be helpful, but if I could add a link in the notification email (along the lines of the release link) that added the ab...

What are your MTA settings? What does your command line look like that calls F-Prot

Does the log file show that the virus scanner is being called and is doing a scan?

Do you have real time protection turned off?
