How 2 provide fault-tolerance
Server went down again, and one of my clients has real mission-critical email needs. Can someone point me to what is involved in setting up a second mail server that will take over when one goes down? Please also confirm that if I set up such a system, they will both be dependent upon a third databa...

SMTP out not working
Suddenly, I have over 2000 messages in my outbound SMTP queue and ME is not sending them out (or is sending them very slowly).
I made no recent changes - how can I track down the problem? Using MEEnt 1.1 - already tried a re-install over the current install.
TIA

Me too
I have just experienced this problem also - everything worked fine, except it would not receive emails sent to that address. Tried deleting and re-creating the account with the same results. When I used a period as a seperator, the problem disappeared. Two of the three email addresses with underscor...

Hazard of forwarding to honey pot?
Sounds great... but: Doesn't the forwarding of messages to a honey pot from a legit local user place the local user's email address into the badmail - increasing the liklihood of tagging internal mail as spam? Forwarding to a mail address does different things to the message than just moving it to a...

Is it fixed yet?
Hi again. Now that 1.1 is released, can someone tell us the capabilities and limitations of the user-defined filters in webmail?

PTR records
Useful report - I requested the PTR record myself, but I administer the more common DNS settings myself. This brings up an important question - my mail server is primarily mail.id-8.com, but I host several domains. Should each domain have an MX record poiting to my primary domain (like mx.id-8.com) ...

PTR record checks for sender domain?
I got a message from someone warning: Someone needs to tell your system adminstrator that the IP address sending out your company's email does not have a DNS PTR record that points back to "makecor.com". Instead, it is pointing to the original PTR record from your ISP ("67.104.224.132.ptr.us.xo.net"...

Editing Filters
The WebMail filter editing screen does not show what options are selected with checkboxes - all the checkboxes are cleared when I go in to edit the filter.
Needs a little UI work.

Recover filter-deleted files - Doh!
Yes, it seems I created a filter that deleted all incoming messages for a PO (I thought the rules were additive, not individually checked)... Sooo.... I have an undelete utility and a time span the messages were deleted. Into what directory are incoming messages placed before they are deleted ...

Add domain to a PO?
Hi - I want to regularly add a domain name to a particular PO, but I'm out of my depths trying to filter the relevant bit of code out of DomainDetail.asp I figure I need to CREATEOBJECT, identify which PO to deal with, Add the Domain and possibly define the Postmaster. Can someone please show me how...
