Re: Suggest

Filter Rules and Trust Levels - Good points!! I don't really agree with the author's 0/+ differentiation. His choice might be valid from a theoretical point of view, but the difference between SHA1 and SHA256 or simple and relaxed canonicalization is not a real-life issue (as the chances for the ab...

I don't mean to sound patronizing, but the first step in troubleshooting (assuming, of course, that you have read the documentation already) is to check out the dedicated DKeyEvent topic . You'll find that most questions have been asked and answered many times already. P.S. The short answer is: you'...

Save the email you want on network shares, and set up a script on the SA server to call sa-learn on those shares. I have something like this set up on SAVASM, so you can take a look at that.

If it is only some messages which are not getting parsed, then the problem is likely on the SpamAssassin side. You should check your SpamAssassin logs, as there might be some problem with your setup (i.e. your SpamAssassin daemon might not be optimized for the volume of mail you are giving it).

Jason, a quick look appears to indicate that your public key is not correctly set. Take a look at this video tutorial; at the end, it shows you how to define your public keys in MS DNS 2003 (so I expect that it should be the same or at least similar with Windows 2000).

Well, there are many reasons why this might happen. You should try the diagnostics in MESpamC to see if it can connect to SpamAssassin. Also, check your logs on both sides to see where the problem might be.

So you are saying that as long as the subject and the message body remain as they were then adding any other headers will not invalidate the message? Yes and no; as long as the signed message is intact, then it will pass validation. A DomainKeys signature will normally include most original headers...

EventEnvelope

Have you had any other feedback? No feedback, no, but it worked ok in my test environment. I expect that there are very few users who would need something like this, though. DKeyEvent can run just fine alongside other filtering applications, as long as these do not alter the original message. It is...
