SMTP IP whitelist in CIDR format

Whitelisting IP addresses in the SMTP settings allows the use of wildcards. I need to whitelist all the IP addresses that Google Apps can use for email. This amounts to over 223 000 addresses and is virtually impossible to cover using only wildcard entries. If CIDR format was available to specify th...

Re: Mailenable extensions

Put what I posted (the Code line) into the reg file that you exported then merge and check what you get back.

I have never seen a 64 bit export that looks like yours does. Nowhere in there do you show a value name of Code with a SZ value of DSN

Re: Mailenable extensions

You should have the following in the DSN section:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Connectors\SMTP\Extensions\DSN]
"Code"="DSN"
"Status"=dword:00000001

The SMTP section looks fine.

Re: Mailenable extensions

I made the required registry settings as per article http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Ar ... D=me020607, restarted the SMTP service and now have DSN as an advertised extension. This is using Enterprise 9.03.

I would suggest checking that the registry entries are correct.

Re: unknown publisher on 9.02.

After 1 January 2016 code signing needs to be done using a SHA-2 certificate for Windows 7 or later, and dual-signed if the same file is to be used on Vista:

Re: How to block EHLO ylmf-pc, Please help!!!

Why not post a suggestion that IP blocking or blacklisting is implemented after blocking say 5 EHLO attempts for the same banned server name. That would allow blocking by EHLO and bad IP in the same function. We are on a fiber connection so as long as the connections are blocked we don't care how ma...

Re: How to block EHLO ylmf-pc, Please help!!!

Other than the fact that you missed the initial connection, the log file output is showing that the connection is being dropped as there are no further transactions in that conversation. What did you expect to see happening ? Look to the line just before 1/12/16 01:53:06 SMTP-IN 1393CDF453FF4CF99BD4...

Re: DKIM help

Yip, your key is way too short. The entire key runs to the second semi-colon so you need to update the record content with exactly what ME gave you as the string for the TXT record.

check out nkosi._domainkey.knowbase.co.za for an example of what the key should look like.

Re: DKIM help

The fix is simple enough - your TXT record for DKIM currently has the name williamswebsolutions.net whereas it should be named wws._domainkey.williamswebsolutions.net in order for DKIM processing to correctly locate the relevant TXT record. If you are using the DNS service from Windows then simply c...

Re: DKIM help

I ran the SPF/DKIM test at https://www.mail-tester.com/spf-dkim-check on your domain and selector and got the DKIM result "No DNS record found for wws._domainkey.williamswebsolutions.net".

I do see you have a TXT record for DKIM but it is definitely not named correctly.

Install the 32 bit VS2008 runtime, that should sort you out.

Try setting the trusted_networks and internal_networks parameters in the SA config file.

Port 25 is not open on mx1.btsatis.com so the server connection to deliver email fails.

Why not try asking Sales directly instead of through the forum ? You are likely to get an answer much faster that way.

Re: Delivery Message Failure

You need to ask the postmaster at the recipient domain, ooredoo.com, why the message is being rejected. They are the ones doing the rejection and there is nothing that ME can do to change that.
