almost any web serving software (mail,www,ftp,etc) keep logs in a specific format and specify bytes sent out..

you can parse these logs and calculate that way..

Urchin is a utility that comes to mind, there are thousands out there..

Try posting your DNS problem if you could! I bet we could get some people to help out... as far as setting up MailEnable.. its pretty straight forward.. There are a few things you shoudl do, but the documentation on the site is easy enough for anyone to understand... just use the MMC console that is...

PHP can be ran from a command line.. so you could possibly write an MTA pickup event to invoke the PHP command line tool

Mine is configured to ONLY relay for authenticated users.. IDK.. doesnt matter cause I check my logs often and am seeing constant spam attempts being blocked..

It sounds like your DNS isn't resolving the domains properly...

When you install and setup ME, ensure that you are using good DNS servers so that your SMTP can properly find the correct MX server record for any domain.

Check your logs for any abnormal errors or messages too... its easy to find through the MMC snap-in

You gotta write a piece of code (executable or script or something) which filters through the bounceback emails, extracts the information, and processes the data...

Good luck with that.. integrating mail solutions with Hotmail is a PITA.. and I assume with Yahoo.. they are almost proprietary.. I have yet to have a single problem with MailEnable integrated into Ensim... works like a charm..

There is only one problem.. and that is changing the Names associated with the mail accounts.. from the admin section of Ensim...
