Thunderbird not finding messages in IMAP search

Hello, I have noticed that with Thunderbird (not sure if with other mail clients as well) when doing a search for a string in body of message (subject works) it returns no messages, whereas if i do it trough the webmail interface it correctly returns the messages. Am I missing something here or is t...

you must be missing a setting. If ASSP is listening on 25 and forwarding to ME at port 2525 (you sure ME is set to listen at this port and restarted the SMTP service?).
Also, try telneting to your ME's IP address port 2525 (the same IP/port you are forwarding ASPP to)

did you configure ASSP to send mail to ME on a different port, and ME is listening for inbound SMTP on that port?

Re: forgot password?

Do any version of Mailenable give users the option (for webmail) to click on a link and have their password emailed to them if they lost it or forgot it? Interesting. If they lost the password, how will they read the mail? Unless they also have a POP/IMAP account setup with an E-mail client and has...

I have found that it is not necessary to reboot the machine (this is on 2003 Web Edition) after applying the above fix.

I installed the pacthes, rebooted machine. Verified that the MMC had errors, applied the above script and was able to run the MMC without any issues afterwards.

One of the common reasons a mail provider will categorizein these days an incoming e-mail as spam is because it is originating from an IP address range that is deemed as "spamming" or if the originating IP address does not have a PTR record or if the originating IP address has no SPF record. I did a...

each domain you host, should have an MX record pointing to mx.domainx.com and the A record for each, will point to the same IP address, i.e: domain1 MX mx.domain1.com A mx.domain1.com 67.104.224.132 domain2 MX mx.domain2.com A mx.domain2.com 67.104.224.132 etc. BUT, there will (and can be) only 1 PT...

that address comes from a DNS record. Open a CMD prompt, go into nslookup tool, type: set qt=mx and then type your domain name and see if it also returns the defunct one. Then: a) the DNS server you reference to on ME, probably are internal IP iddresses (192...) Check those, and do a clear cache. b)...
