URGENT: What Is "DownloadedMessagesFile" in the DB

I am in a hurry and trying to figure out what the " DownloadedMessagesFile " field in the POPC Table of the database is used for. I have a client who needs to pop over 500 different accounts from one server to my server, however manually inserting them is a HUGE pain. I need to know what the Downloa...

Sorry, I don't know if I can answer that question, maybe Paarlberg or BrandywineITS can chime in...

Here is another thread that might give some insight.

Also, ClamAV in MailEnable totally sucks because it is only single threadded. However if you use it in ASSP, it is NOT single threadded... in fact ClamAV runs as a separate service that ASSP passes the mail off to. It works amazingly, is fast, and catches a lot. I would recommend ClamAV if you go wi...

Thanks for the replies, The ASSP looks great, though I would like for my clients to still have a little control over what happens with spam. In my ASSP config, I allow my customers to have control over the tagged spam. If you run filters in test mode, it will add specific headers but not actually d...

please make this a priority. hosting providers need full control over things like this. I would also like to suggest (and i will in the suggest form as well) the ability to make a "mandatory" footer disclaimer on all mail lists and groups. If someone creates a mail list, i would like to make a manda...

Advanced SQL Config (ME Enterprise Only)

I posted this in the "Enterprise" forum but thought that all you dev's might like to see it here too.

These triggers help automate some tasks to make life easier when using control panels or other methods to manage a large number of domains.

my guess would be inaccurate config in ASSP. Please verify that you're relaying your email to MailEnable properly and your authentication settings in ASSP are right Turn ON (nolocalDomains) Make sure you are listening and relaying (Destination) on separate ports. You can also manually enter your Loc...

Why is ME's SQL Config so damn hard on RAM?

as the subject states... WTH? My DB is a measly 7MB in size I host 15 domains and 1000 email accounts. So Why The Heck is my SQL Server using over 800MB or RAM? MailEnable is the ONLY thing running on this server and ME's DB is the only db in SQL Server. So why so big??? This is terribly inefficient...

Here is a fun trigger that enables Public Folders for each new postoffice. This way you dont have to worry about logging in each time a client asks for this feature. USE [MailEnable] GO /****** Object: Trigger [dbo].[Enable_Public_Folders_Per_Postoffice] Script Date: 07/05/2008 19:49:57 ******/ SET ...

This trigger works in conjunction with Default Junk Delivery. It sets the default action for the postoffice.
