BUG: Permission issues

I found several permission issues that took some time to fix. I had originally thought it had to do with ASSP on the front-end or Windows Firewall. I was doing a fresh install of Ent 2.50 and migration of config from another server. I ended up upgrading to Ent 2.52 after everything was fixed. One wa...

I had the same issue. I had to apply the registry settings to the full MailEnable tree to get things working.

The best part is it kills spam before it hits MailEnable so ME doesn't work very hard.

I am migrating to a new server and found a work around. Use winrar and create a zip/rar file and exclude *.mai files. You could also do *.xml, *.dat, *.nfy, *.cf*. You will get a clean directory structure transferred to the new server. I also did a rar/zip for the config folder and moved that over. ...

I use ASSP as a front-end for spam filtering. It works very well for greylisting. I know several other people that are seeing great success with it. The best part is it allows ME to do what it should, route mail.

It sounds like the AM and PM on your server are off. If you change your time format to 24 hour clock, what does it show?

I would think that the filter is deleting it since it will still process it on the forwarded mail. What I do is have ASSP send a copy to spam@ address. Then it makes it there. You can set a filter to look for recipient spam@ then stop processing filters. Then you can apply the delete function after ...

ME Ent. v2 deliver to junk option

I only see that this is selectable at the PO level, is there a place I can update it for the server to force all PO to deliver to junk folder?

Maybe I am over looking something.

Thanks

Does ME Pro 3.x have move to junk folder option?

I am trying to decide between ME Pro and Ent for a server, it is currently running Pro 1.x. I have evaluated Ent 3.x and like the junk folder option, since I use a 3rd party spam detection, I don't need all the spam features of Ent.

I am running different versions of Pro and Ent, iMail and Exchange. I placed ASSP in front of them and they do not complain at all. Great SPAM protection. Version 3 of ME Ent looks a lot better from the webmail. I also have an SM server that I find hard to manage, and webmail is sluggish. ASSP -> ME...

I Use ASSP for spam prevention. Even if you only enable the "recommended" 4 or 5 options, you will see spam go away. I just installed it for a company that was receiving about 20-30k e-mails a day and most were SPAM. It has been catching about 99.8-99.9 of all inbound messages as SPAM. So far, zero ...

mailbox pickup script

I am looking for a script to use in a mailbox to move spam to a spam folder if certain criteria is matched in the subject and/or header. Something similar to the one that was available in earlier versions of MEFilter.

If anyone has something they are using, I would like to have a copy if possible.
