Hi,

Best way forward would be to lodge a support ticket and provide server access as we have tried on multiple images and versions of Windows server with only TLS 1.2 enabled and it works. As mentioned must be a firewall/proxy causing this.

Hi,

Did you make any changes to the server relating to disabling TLS or SSL versions? Is there a firewall/proxy you route through?

Hi,

We have tested this our end and it works for us. What version of Windows server are you running MailEnable on? Also ensure your running the latest version of MailEnable as there was fixes in this area in later versions.

Hi,

The latest beta release on our beta page contains a change for this for the returned response for denied access. It will now respond like the example below masking the server host name and MailEnable version details:

530 IP x.x.x.x denied access to SMTP at 03/03/21 10:39:34

Hi, Most likely its because you have the "MailEnable Migration Centre" utility set to "Capture username/passwords that are attempted and do not exist locally" enabled. Navigate within the MailEnable program group under the Windows start menu to the "Migration" folder and open the migration utility. ...

Hi,

Are you able to navigate to the mailboxes calendar folder and provide a copy of the .CAL file that was created via the informant application and then attach to an email and send to response@mailenable.com? This will allow us to emulate the problem on our end.

Hi,

I have tested this and it works. The delete will happen instantly. Have you inspected the "Inbox" folders for the mailboxes to see if the modified dates of the messages match your criteria for deletion?

Have you verified that the same IP address failed to authenticate 3 times in the SMTP log files?

Hi,

Yes in all versions. Its the way the POP protocol works. This will be the case on other mail servers that provide POP connectivity.
