After obtaining the customers credentials, and accessing the account via POP3, I can confirm that all things are working as expected via that retrieval mechanism. The email appears to contain the correct and expected text. However, when you look at it through the webmail interface, this is all you s...

Hi Ben, Thank you for the swift response. The version of the server is Enterprise 2.50. I am just waiting to hear back from the customer, so I can run a test against POP/IMAP retrieval, however when I looked at the message files on the server they did seem fine, and if you reply to the message, look...

MailEnable Ent 2.5 Webmail - Display of Googlemail Messages

Hello folks, I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered similar issues. We have the .NET Webmail running on our server, and it has been fine for a long time. However, recently users reported that emails received from googlemail.com/gmail.com email addresses were arriving, but when you clicked on t...

I'm unsure if it was the lockdown tool, or someone else that had changed the permissions, but the problem was that the NETWORK SERVICE was unable to read the CONFIG , POSTOFFICES and directories where extensions were installed, and didn't have the Full Control permissions it should have in those loc...

Partially Returned

Hello again, Well I followed a few other ASP.NET guides about similar problems with other interop using assemblies, and found that setting the " Authenticated Users " group to have " Read and Execute " permissions on the MailEnable\Bin folder allowed me to at least get past that initial .NET error m...

Unable to load dll (MEAIAU.DLL)

Hi there, I was just trying to use an ASP.NET application we had built using the MailEnable.Admin assembly. This application has started giving this error message when trying to use the components methods that are DllImported (and hence trying to go to the Win32 dll on the file system). For example,...

How to Add to "IP Address Connection Restrictions"

Ideally, I've a secondary application which is used to analyse some information, and I would like to ban an IP based on some of this info...

Can We Change MailEnable SMTP Connector Welcome Text?

Hello there, Just as an example: 220 mail.example.com ESMTP MailEnable Service, Version: 0--2.36 ready at 01/14/07 16:21:50 Is there a way we can change this text, as obviously it is a little foolish giving away details of the software you use, and version to spammers, as they will likely use any we...
