ME MMC console use is very slow

I am using ME Ent. 2.40 on two node cluster. Both nodes share a storage repository off a SAN. Using the MailEnable MMC on a node is painfully slow. Bringing up the list of mailboxes or creating a mailbox takes a few minutes to be displayed. I only host about 120 mailboxes. Working with the filters a...

Thanks Ben, At this time the best thing to do will be to submit a support request ticket via the MailEnable web site and then send through the complete logs with the advanced debug logging on. Or at least send through the log extracts where you can see the same thing occur with the advanced logging ...

What I see is that over time both MTAs start running instead of one being in the "Lost election" state. I enabled the greater MTA logging. I will let it run tonight. I did noticed that once I started both MTAs, one node started spitting out: 05/07/08 17:20:38 Lost election. 05/07/08 17:20:40 Lost election. non-stop. Which should happen. Does MESetPriv.exe exist under Standard?

I ran MEInstaller.exe to reset the file permissions (1). It can't because \Bin\MESetPriv.exe was not found. Does that program not exist in this Standard version of MailEnable?

Found the problem. It was a permission problem on the Registry key MailEnable. It looks like the METray.exe program runs in the tray with the logged-on user credentials and that user needs FULL permissions on those MailEnable Registry keys. That does not seem quite right. What keeps the MTA on each ME host from working on the same inbound message at the same time? There must be some lock mechanism with deadlock detection going on.
