Could you tell me the version that I should see on MEMTA.EXE once I install V2.4 of Enterprise?

Thank you!

I ended up re-running the V2.4 enterprise240.EXE installer. It fixed things up and converted the existing settings to ASP.Net. I am leary of MEinstaller.exe when it comes to WebAdmin fixup from now on.

Update: It seems that my ASP.Net configuration is gone. All the "Mail Enable Administration" COM+ components is not there either. Searching the Knowledge Base it does give a manual instructions how to create them but it refers to using the file bin\MEAPWAS.DLL which does not exist. The MEinstaller.e...

WebAdmin Problem with V2.4

After I upgraded to V2.4 of Enterprise, WebAdmin can not be configured from the MailEnable MSC interface. When I go the Properties of WebAdmin, I get an popup error of "Error loading settings:Path not found". The "Default base" selections is empty. I also see that the IIS Home directory for WebAdmin...

Does V2.4 include ME-10036?

Can I/should I install ME-10036 after I upgrade to Enterprise V2.4? If I go by the "applies to" verbiage then I would say yes. I am checking because V2.4 was released after ME-10036 and it may have other changes to the MTA that ME-10036 might undo. I want to make sure.

Thanks!

New user to Enterprise V2.38

I am using ME Enterprise version 2.38 and I found two problems during the setup and first days of use. Maybe someone has come across what I am seeing. When I installed ME Enterprise version 2.38 using a cluster configuration, the "localhost\Filters" Logging location is pointing to the UNC of the dat...

I have a two-node cluster setup. I have the same problem logging "Lost Election" every second to the debugging log file and I am not running debugging ("memta -debug") at a Command Prompt. Is debugging turned on because I have the Debug Log file turned on via ME MMC console which in turn sets the re...

I want local (same domain) outgoing mail to be delivered directly. If not local, send the mail to the Smart Host.

Routing Configuration Question

I have a MailEnable (ME) host as a SMTP MTA running inside of the company I work for. I would like to configure ME so that mail will be delivered directly to any local host machine and use a Smart Host for delivery to any external domain (Internet). I got the Smart Host running but all mail (local a...
