Re: HOW TO ABUSE A MAIL ENABLE SERVER (how do i stop?)

Hi all A test script: http://members.iinet.net.au/~remmie/relay/ This server is setup for SMTP auth as well, ive tried everything, test it on your server and see! Cheers, Sean. Whilst this script might be set up by a person with legitimate and good intentions I personally wouldn't use it. A scan of...

Re: ClamWin Vs ClamAV

Has anyone got any ideas or have you used the ClamAV version with ME instead of the ClamWin version ? Thanks Martyn Hi Martyn, I use ClamAv (the windows port) and I'm very happy with it. It has just been upgraded to a DLL build in the last few weeks wich will decrease scan times (if you use clamd) ...

Our mail throughput is generally pretty low (10,000 mails per week with all of the spam that comes our way). Is this going to cause me any problems ...

Re: Spamassassin support issues

I have successfully installed SAFilter, the Windows port of Spamassassin and Spamassassin itself. I modified the spam.bat file in the outlook SA port to utilize the latest version of SA that is supported on Windows. (3.0) I have come accross a few problems. I am not able to modify most of the local...

Attention to ClamWin users

I note a few of you use ClamWin Av. You may be getting error messages as of today saying your version is out of date. There have been changes to the signature files that apparently require updates that ClamWin has not (at time of posting) put in place. I use ClamAv for windows which is a different p...

Probably the only sensible way (at least to me) would be to write an ASP page that collects the support information from the user in a form. We are already doing that, but it does not provide a way to balance the load evenly. Balancing by user input is not ideal in this case becuase option A is muc...
