MESMTPC.exe Memory Leak
I'm running ME Ent 3.6 on Win 2003 server. MESMTPC.exe seems to have a memory leak and needs restarting every day or so. When started it uses about 9,000 Kb memory but over 2 or 3 days this can rise to 150,000 Kb causing performance problems. Anyone else noticed the same problem ? Has this been fixe...

I have the same problem understanding how to import email addresses in the whitelist. Where is the whitelist ? I have email addresses in a whitelist and the sender is still ending up in the Junk folder, I'm having problems debugging this. Is it possible to have a copy of the best practices white pap...

Good stuff, and thanks for sharing. Some clients are complaining about delays in receiving their mail so I'd like to add all the major Italian ISP's SMTP's to the Greylist Exceptions folder. eg. smtp.191.it, smtp.fastweb.it, smtp.tiscali.it etc. Is parsing the ME logs the best way to find out the SM...

Plesk - SpamAssassin - Mailenable not working together
I’m running to following products: Plesk : 8.1.0 SpamAssassin: 3.1.1 Mailenable Enterprise (eval): 2.37 The idea is to let SpamAssassin detect and tag spam (X-Spam-Flag: YES) which it does. It also prefixes the subject line with “*****SPAM*****†I have set up a mailbox filter in Mailenable to ...

Junk E-mail folders not being created
Have recently upgraded ME Pro to ME Enterprise (evaluation). The main reason is to automate the moving of spamassassin tagged spam to each users junk email folder ... For a test domain I have ... 1. activated "Deliver junk email to Junk E-mail folder for mailboxes" 2. enabled a rule for the test mai...

It seems that I was wrong when I suggested above that the auto-generated message to infom the sender that the user's mailbox is full IS INDEED PASSED THROUGH THE MTA. By setting up a filter to trap the text of the auto-generated message and to inform my email address I am able to be informed as to w...

MailEnable Technical article ME020226 (see below) says that it is possible to notify the postmaster when mailbox quotas are exceeded. However I assume that this is NOT TRUE ! I've tried to achieve this using filters but I assume that the messages generated to inform the mailbox and sender are not pa...
