Re: System error

You should check your SMTP Debug and Activity logs at the time that the message is reported and verify the activity of the remote connection.
The most likely reason is that the stated IP address is attempting to guess one of your user's passwords.

Re: Disabling welcome message

You can simply do this in the management console (if you are running a current version). It is located under the security tab of the SMTP Service in the MMC. The label is "alternate welcome message". It can also be done via the registry as outlined here: http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Article....

Re: Thunderbird dropping/resyncing IMAP Folders on TB restar

Hi Thomas, here are some suggestions. Firstly I would suggest enabling thunderbirds logging - since it will give more insight as to why it is resyncing. Secondly, this thread seems to indicate that there have been problems with Thunderbird's behaviour: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66...

Re: lsass.exe memory usage with MAPI

As I said, I did test with SSL (to see if I could reproduce the behaviour you mentioned). My confusion was moreover whether you were referring to the LSASS service of the client or the server. We will run a soak test against the IMAP server over SSL and monitor the behaviour of the server LSASS. I'l...

Re: lsass.exe memory usage with MAPI

Is the LSASS process on the server or on the client? ie: Are you saying that LSASS jumps on the server or on the client machine when you open a client side outlook connection. From what you have mentioned, it is probably more likely to be client side. If it is occurring on the client, then it is ver...

Re: 7.53 release - outlook 2013 activesync

Hi, With respect to folders not showing in webmail - the reason the folders are not showing up in webmail is because you are using a custom skin and the me.css is outdated. There will probably also be other areas of the webmail that will not work as well until you rectify this. You will need to upda...

Re: ME and Domain on different servers

The activesync clients will need to communicate with the actual mail server. The fact that the web site is hosted on another server is not really relevant to ActiceSync itself (it has some relevant to implementing autodiscovery however). It does however complicate things in that your configuration i...

Re: Outlook 2013 MAPI 'other' option missing

Maybe the version of outlook is 64 bit or something and its not finding it. Could you please search for your MAPISVC.INF file under your program files (or Program Files 64) and paste it here. Thanks. You could also run processmon when you locad outlook and attempt to create a profile (filtering Outl...

Re: FULL API EXAMPLES MAILBOX CREATION

I think the limit is -1. The simplest way to guage the arguments is to make a mailbox with the settings you desire (using the MMC), and then open the mailbox.tab file and review the settings.

Re: Notification when Queue or Sent Mail exceed threshold

MailEnable also has the ability set thresholds for the maximum number of recipients per hour (this is under the Security tab of the SMTP Connector). You can also control this at a postoffice or user level (under the settings for the postoffice and mail user respectively) With this settings, users wi...

Re: Licence Error with Hyper-Threading Technology

Update: I was talking with one of the engineers and it has been discovered that 32 bit apps will only report up to 32 CPUs. That's why you get different behaviour depending on the bitness. Therefore the solution is to either run all services as 32 or 64 bit. I would suggest running them as 64 bit on...

Re: Licence Error with Hyper-Threading Technology

Hi Perez, you are right, that is weird.
Would it be possible for you to raise a support ticket at http://www.mailenable.com/support (under defect category) so we may be able to collect more information.
Thanks
