Exactly.

I'm not interested in the web mail, web admin features, etc. All I need is to be able to configure this secondary server with the security options I have on a Prof. license.

ME Ltd. any comments??

Steen

AV/Bayesian in v2 Standard/Prof.

I have a small issue with the new version 2. I have already bought a version 1+ Prof., and will probably pay the $$s for a version 2 Prof. version. This will be my main mail server, where the users access web mail, POP, etc., so I have AV and with version 2 I will use Bayesian on this server. My pro...

V2 demo/trial, AV and Bayesian not working?

Is it me, have I missed something in a release note, or? I've enabled both AV and Bayesian, and mail is being "picked-up" by the SMTP connector and ending up in the inbox, but it appears they are neither AV nor anti-spam scanned? Nothing in the logs and in the new fancy system overview AV scans and ...

It might be easier to get a POP3/SMTP class, and just use that.. That's what I plan on doing.

Tracking messages?

I have a customer that claims he's lost a message. I can locate the message in the SMTP log, and again in the MTA log and the PostOffice log. Nothing in the filter or AV log.. Next thing is the POP log! Am I looking for the wrong thing? I would expect to see the message ID somewhere in the POP log, ...

Will Mailenable have grey listing?

I've been off the forum some time, so I might have missed this, but do they plan on implementing grey listing in ME ?

I'm hoping for a dotNet assembly coming up later that will cover the ME classes not already covered by the administration classes! Otherwise I'll have to do it myself using POP3, IMAP or HTTPMail.! I want to be able to host the web-mail and mail-admin web-sites on a remote server, not on the mail-se...

but is just SO illogic that this very important new filter is not better documented. I have tried everything, read every message on the site... until I found the forum and read this answer. Well, that's the way it is with MailEnable. I know the team behind is doing their best, and it is a really fe...

I'm not really sure you can do that. The .NET "API", is for administration.

And what are "new messages"? Messages since last POP3 log-in/check or ?

I don't know why this isn't implemented in ME, I'm pretty sure that it is required by one of the "SMTP RFCs". I've been running tests on my ME server, and they all say that the server should support this, but no!
