webadmin - change redirection box to a drop-down

On the mailbox tab when editing a mailbox, I was wondering if it's possible to change the "redirect mail to" text box to a drop-down box that's populated with a list of addresses in the current post office? I don't want to allow people to forward their email to an outside email address. Right now I ...

Trying to track down missing emails

Have a customer with missing emails. The problem appears to be with some filters I have in place. This is the tracing I get on the message: SMTP\SMTP-Activity-120518.log:05/18/12 11:40:56 SMTP-IN 2474C9A95025493080441A3B923C3AA1.MAI 2552 12.186.81.249 220 ssl.ttcsinc.com - smtp 0 0 SMTP\SMTP-Activit...

Re: Question - Message Filter system variables for executed

I realize it's been over five years since I asked this question, so I apologize for bringing it up again. But I never found an answer to this. I've again searched the manual and I can't even find a list that has [ID], [CONNECTOR], or [TIME] in it. I've tried my best to read page by page each section...

Re: SSL for standard edition? Stunnel.org ??

Just installed Stunnel on my system. It was pretty straightforward. I followed these instructions for HFS: http://www.rejetto.com/wiki/index.php/HFS:_Secure_your_server#HTTPS_and_SSL The only thing I did different is I did not uninstall the program after installing it, and I left in the pop3 and smt...

Pop3 dictionary attacks

Is there a way to block an ip address once a certain number of failed pop3 logon attempts occur? I'm getting floods of connection attempts throughout the day, and they tie up over half of my pop3 connections. If I can catch it while it's happening I can block the ip in my router, but it would be nic...

I have run across this problem now. Mailenable accepts the email from wordpress, but when it sends it out, it leaves off the ending >, or is it adding an extra < to the front? i'm really not sure if this is a wordpress issue. i'm thinking it's not since mailenable accepts the email just fine. a smal...

If you have two criteria in one filter then it is best to seperate them into one filter per criteria. This way you can see in the logs what criteria is being actioned each time by using the FILTER NAME part of the logs. My only criteria is if the spam filter tags it as spam. If CriteriaMet([ME_HEAD...

System filters forwarding email twice

I have a filter set up to forward all spam (from all incoming email) to an email address. Helps me keep an eye on how well the spam filter is working. I also have filters set up for other domain names to add a prefix to the subject of the email that is tagged as spam.. On 80% of the emails that the ...

The simplest solution is to set the directive during execution: ini_set("sendmail_from", $from); $headers = $from; mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers); This will send the email from the 'form' and enter it into the list. WOW. I've just revisited this problem on another website I'm working on. I...

I can't ignore this either. Perhaps you're so used to working with AD and Exchange that you're finding it hard to acclimate to ME, but I would agree with twizted that the former is much much more complicated. The install of ME takes about 5-10 minutes, and the initial setup already has your first po...

Figured i'd follow up on this a bit. Turns out there is a button on a "new email window" in outlook that allows you to turn off the digital id, and another button to turn off encryption if you're using that. this took care of it. would still be nice to be able to view them in webmail though. but thi...

S/Mime and p7m files in webmail (digitally signed emails)

Is it possible to view digitally signed emails in webmail? Right now all we see if the smime.p7m file attachment. I found a decent little p7m viewer, but this won't help with people who don't have access to install programs on the computer they're using. http://www.cryptigo.com/smime.p7m/ thanks.

You should be able to search the smtp logs and parse out the particular domain name. If the emails are going to just one recipient, you should be able to see who shows up the most as the "from:" address. Even if they're sending to multiple recipients, you should be able to match up the huge list of ...

Thanks for the link. I saw that utility but didn't catch that it would do this. I successfully changed the max quota for each postoffice with no problem. but i don't see how to change the quote for each mailbox. it says to look in the mailboxname.sys file, but those files don't have much in them, if...
