Contacts needs improvement

I love mailenable and have upgraded from Pro to Enterprise primarily for the WebMail interface, which is great. My customers are trying to do more and more of their work online and many are moving away from Outlook on the desktop - so they're asking for a more robust addressbook in Webmail. I gather...

Spam filtering options

I am currently using a combination of MEFilter and "Fluffy the SMTPGuardDog" for spam filtering my MailEnable Enterprise mail server, and the combination is pretty effective. The problem is that Fluffy does not run as a service and has not been updated in over a year. It's technique of waiting for t...

Absolutely! We NEED good search capabilities in the webmail interface (at least in the Enterprise version)!

I got it mostly for the webmail interface - which does need signifigant improvement, but is still better than the webmail of the Pro version.

Oops - I misdiagnosed!

I did some further testing, and found that the problem seems to have been caused by a comma in a folder name (last name, first name). The folder was migrated from MEPro, so perhaps you allowed commas in MEPro and not in MEEnterprise, or prehaps the client added the folder (meaning you should disallo...

Folder Limit

Yup - the problem re-appears when I plave the 61st folder back into the mailbox directory. The 60 in there have 2 subdirectories, for a total of 62 - so the limit must be either 60 at the root level or about 65 total folders and sub-folders. Suggest you fix ASAP - let me know if I can provide more i...

Nope - still a problem. I suspect it's related to the number of folders in this person's mailbox. There are 66 folders at the mailbox level, and some folders have several sub-folders. I have moved all the folders and I'm moving them back one at a time until I trigger the problem again. And by the wa...

Correct RDNS setting for AOL?

AOL is rejecting email from the domains hosted on my MailEnable server. I have several domains, each with an MX record like this: mx.domainname.com So, for domain1 it will be: mx.domain1.com AOL's RDNS tool says: Failure! Unfortunately we were unable to resolve Reverse DNS for the IP address you ent...

ASP error

One of my webmail users is getting the following error in place of the folders list she should see on the left: "MEWebmMail error '800a005b' Object variable or With block variable not set /mewebmail/base/enterprise/lang /EN/folders.asp, line 131" Other users don't appear to have a problem... Enterprise UI quirks

There are a few usability improvements that would really help Enterprise. Here are a few from my first few minutes with it: Allow the user to select number of messages displayed from the inbox (current method is for ALL webmail users, and is an admin function) When you open messages in a new window,...

How many lines of email to show?

OK, now that we're no longer allowed to open email in a lower frame (as in Pro), how come we're still restricted to seeing only 15 messages per page?

It sure would be an improvement if you could select the number of messages to show per page!

Just edit the bold.gif and italic.gif files in the skins directory. I copy it all to my own skins directory and modify it there.
